I saw this last week someone had it on my facebook, I couldn't believe it. Oh well, I know I've eaten this many times when they showed the one that was cooked I've had meat like that. It's so prevalent in the food industry I'm sure we've all eaten it, and I probably have some in my freezer right now lol

I use this stuff all the time. It sounds kind of gross but it is actually made from a natural plant enzyme and it "glues" protiens together by bonding the glutamine and lysine amino acids to each other. We use it alot in molecular gastronomy cooking.

I'd feel a little ripped off if a restaurant I dined at served me glued meat. If the industry would clearly label it as well as restaurants, it's fair play imo.

or the fact we allegedly pay a premium for our "higher quality" meat(s). Kind of shocking when you see what Americans pay vs. our costs.
