Agreed...
Majority FTW!
Thank god. Imagine a majority NDP government?
LOL. We would all be working for food, so those with zero skills could live well.

Long as old Steve stays out of moral issues, should be no better or worse than the rest..........

Well, he got out of actually having to answer any questions or tell us what waste he's going to cut to save the taxpayer a billion dollars... I guess now we're going to find out.
He didn't promise to actually balance the budget until 2015 either, and still got elected in a landslide...... Very impressive.
At least the long gun registry will finally bite the dust.

Rob,do you know any people working for the government that work hard?Try dealing with them.Go here.Go back there, blah, blah. And why should we fund the pensions of these people?Too many public workers doing SFA.That gun registry is a prime example.Really,we need to see more info about just how we measure up and what we have to do to be in the black...we cannot continue forever like this.Right now the country is like a big jellyfish that washed up.I wonder if Layton being caught in a rub'n'tug actually made him more popular with Quebecers?

I completely agree with you, the gun registry is a 2 billion dollar waste that hasn't saved 1 persons life, its totally inexcusable.
They all waste money though, how many dollars were wasted in the G20 Summit? How many Conservative ridings in the middle of nowhere got funding for it?
I think realistically though its going to take a lot more than cutting it to balance the budget unfortunately, tough decisions are going to have to be made.... Now that he has a majority, why are we waiting until 2015?
It all comes down to either reducing spending or raising taxes....... either way a lot of people are going to be alienated.
The Liberals balanced the budget, in a roundabout way.... EI became a form of taxation, and they killed healthcare..... IF Steve leads the more financially responsible party, we're going to find out.
Agree that the G20 was the biggest flock up they could manage.

The CBC people must be shaking in their boots. They might even have to reveal their inner workings.
