I recently notice many of my lady friends use the word "friend" when they are talking about the guys they are sleeping with. Sometimes I have counted more then 3 "friends" that these gals have. Is this a new phenomenom thats going around? Is it some code that they use so as not to offend men around them or not to be portrayed as promiscous? Has anyone ever heard women describe guys that you well know are more then just friends? Or have you been labeled a "friend"? (I have, I had mix feelings about it and I would appreciate some insight from other dudes.)

It's called friends with benefits. Fairly common these days.

My girlfriend is out of town with 2 of her friends (1 guy, 1girl).

The 3 of them are sharing a hotel room. Should i be worried ?
