why bother with such a low dose supplement?

I use the costco brand which is 300/200. I take 5 a day.

Why bother with such a high dose? If you have a decent diet you don't need to mega dose, all you're accomplishing is emptying your wallet needlessly.

Can you post your diet?

A keto diet is high in healthy fats but fish oils are still recommended on the diet so I'm curious how you're structuring things differently?

Nothing was mentioned about a keto diet from the OP so i'm assuming its a case of all things being equal and catering to us Joe average lifters...

I won't post my entire diet but will give a sample.. We eat salmon a minimum of 3 days a week, one of my evening snacks that i have just about every night consists of 2 to 3 tbs of yogurt, a tbs of wheat germ, tbs of sun flower seeds, tbs of oats and 2 tbs of ground flax seed, sometime during the day I'll eat 1 to 2 hand fulls of walnuts.. And every morning i take my one cap of fish oil.

Plenty or am i lacking?

Hard to tell but I don't think you're getting enough?

I mentioned keto because it's a diet that specifically high in healthy fat YET it is also recommended to take additional fish oils.

I think a big reason for us to take such high doses of 3's is because our diets are filled with Omega 6's and in order for us to see any true health benefits these two need to be as close as possible something like a 2:1 or 3:1 is optimal but we are usually running something like 30:1 or 50:1. Of course we are all different , but unless you are eating grass feed chicken and beef and drinking grass feed milk and using grass feed butter , etc.... you will have high amounts of Omega 6 in your system.
