From what I gathered, at 70 he fell into a coma and this was posted on his site
On March 19 2009, our father was discovered home, in a coma by firemen. He was immediately transfered to the Lariboisiere hospital. Since that, Serge Nubret is under the supervision of the hospital’s medical staff. For now, the diagnosis is a hypoglycemic coma probably due to a malfunction of the pancreas. The explorations continues while Serge Nubret is in rehabilitation. We will keep you informed of any change in its health state.
Meanwhile, we suspend the website. Thank you for your understanding and support.
His children.
Then someone posts on MD that he was being poisoned. Police get involved and immediately Serge starts getting better.
Then supposedly Serge posts this on bb.com
my children poisened me to take my money books and land
they drugging me so I canot talk and lies why i am here
i canot walk i dont want die in hopital
hopital know this and cover up everyting pleas get me out
What is the real truth never seemed to come to light.
Strange. He was a true high volume guy.
that is super messed up. i hope this is cleared up and any guilty parties are brought to justice.
Baddest 70 yr old I've ever seen.

RIP Serge :(
When Nubret had his showdown with Arnold,he lost on account of his back being very much inferior to Arnold's.I saw an article(1980?)in one of the outlaw mags,in which he described his method of building his back up to acceptable standards, which is quite different from today's methods, but may have some value to those that have a hard time getting a good mind muscle connection back there.IIRC,he did almost all cable work, both standing and on a special flat bench, reps were 15 I believe, slow and complete contractions, lots of sets, many angles, some movements more like what a swimmer would do.He did a decent job.
