Just wondering what your thoughts are on kids drinking protein shakes. My five year old loves the chocolat and prefers it to conventional chocolat milk. On occasion I make him a half scoop drink and although he'd drink a couple a day I'm not sure if there's any ill effect. What are your thoughts?

I don't see how it can be bad considering that they add protein to baby formulas. I wouldn't consider supplements to be a substitute for whole food protein for a child but putting some in milk shouldn't harm a child.

I give it to my kids also. It's not something they love as much as they use too , but every once in awhile.

I also give my kids Xtend ( BCAA"s ) while they play hockey or karate or whatever they are doing instead of just water.

If you don't mind me asking.Would BCAA's be okay to give to kids? just curious.

I dont see why not. They are just amino acids - Most protein shakes have this in it. I just see it as a bit better while doing activity because it's giving their muscles what they need and it's not going to bloat them.

keep em hydrated and your ok, less than 5% of kids on epilectic diets (keto/high protein) have issues and this has been attributed more to their dehydrated state they are kept in rather than high protein content

Hello dear. You don't need to worry because protein shakes are good for health.Protein is good for kids because of their strength and energy. So give your kids protein shakes because these shakes are energy booster.
