I was doing my quad injection yesterday with 25g 1" and halfway through the needle bounced back on its own??? Can someone tell me what causes this.
Thanks

How much do you bench? anyone that looses a fight with a syringe and needle is a weakling.

I was looking for more of theoretical answer instead.
Thanks for posting useless crap.

Did you try moving the needle slightly deeper or pull it out a bit? Different things can be the cause but most likely it was a pocket of scar tissue. Do you use that site often?

I rotate between quads and glutes. Pin was going in nice and easy but all of a sudden it jumps right back out. Maybe hit a vein or something because there was a bit of blood after.

No, not a vein. It would go in very fast if you would hit a vein and you'd probably start coughing like a mad man afterward.

I was just curious if something like this happened to anyone before.

I've done it once before. It was from a nerve I hit just twitched and it popped out.

You hit a nerve for sure. Muscle twitched and pushed the needle out. Not scar tissue. Scar tissue it would just be harder to push in, it wouldn't "bounce back".
