P,
I had blood work done which came back with TSH at 2.7 which is well within normal range if using the traditional standard of .5 - 5.0 or at the high-end if using the new proposed protocol of .3 a 3.0.
My question is should I ask for further testing to measure T4 directly? Literature suggests that if one measures over 2.0 on the new proposed protocol that secondary testing for T4 should be in order. I'm curious what you think?
Thanks!
