I must say this is the most aggravating part of my body. I can't for the life of me get teh suckers to grow. The rest of my body is getting stronger, but my triceps/chest just suck.

Does anyone have any suggestions to break this plateau? Like I said, the rest of my body is doing well, and my lower body(deads and squats) are doing exceptionally well but chest/tris....suck!

please help!

if youre not doing it already have an arm day. Train triceps first then bi's. I like pre exhausting before the big compound movements because you really get the blood in the tri's and warm up the elbows. I do rope or 1 arm press downs 3x20, then close grip 5x5 very very slow negatives , then incline skull crushers. YOu need to leave the ego at the door with arm training and train for feel imo

we typically train chest/tris together. we mix it up quite a bit week to week but always 4 sets of 10's. incline skulls, decline skulls, seated weighted dips, french press', close grip bench, pushdowns to name a few. I do lack tricep endurance as well, because after chest, they're pretty exhausted already and burn a little already.

As UBC said train bis and tris on their own day...concentrate on the mass builders....heavy weighted dips and close grip bench presses...pushdowns, extensions etc are fine at the end but will never build mass and strength like dips and benches.
