I'm starting a new job where I'll mostly be out in the field and won't have access to a fridge like I have in the past.
Does anyone have any suggestions for decently priced protein bars since I'll probably have to go this route to meet my requirements each day.

Better Protein Bars from Need To Build Muscle. ;)

You get a bag of mix, throw it in a bowl, mix with honey and natural peanut butter. Throw in the fridge for 30 mins you and you 12 delicious fresh made natural protein bars. :)

I have a thread about them posted in the Need To Build Muscle sub-forum on here. :)

Look online...I make my own protein bars and they are definately good stuff. You can then make them with whatever breakdown of nutrients you want.

Yea, exactly.
Much better for you then pretty much all of the pre-made bars you'll find. :)

Hi All,
Want to share my way through this forum.
Take 3 cups of oatmeal, 1/2 cup peanut butter, 4 scoops of protein powder and 1 cup skimed milk.
Mix the ingredients for few minutes till it becomes sticky batter.
Spread the mixture on metal tray.
Freeze it overnight and cut bars in desired sizes.

I would suggest finding yourself a strength bar (http://www.enutriments.com/eas-myoplex-strength-bar) that at least tastes good because if I was out in a field forcing myself to eat something that didn't taste somewhat good, it would drive me crazy. I would say try that recipe, anything with peanut butter tastes good to me.
