Proviron before PCT

is it a good idea to run Proviron leading up to pct?

I was reading on another forum about it and some guys were discussing how it helps with recovery and gives more hard/polished look.

They are misinformed...Proviron used to be used for estrogen control prior to the the introduction of third generation AI's. Now that Aromasin, Femara, and Arimidex are available which by the way do a much better job at controlling estrogen there really is no reason to use Proviron. The only way it would assist in recovery is to reduce estrogen which as stated already AI's do much better. The hard/polished look is the after effect of reducing estrogen....which would be even better if an AI was used.

I agreee,
I woudl use it DURING cycle to make the cycle a wee bit nicer (binds to SHBG and frees up test ect.). not just before pct. i dont see the point..
take it whole cycle leading up to pct (but i would NOT rec it during pct in most cases)

The idea that it improves cycles has never been proven...clients have run many cycles with and without Proviron and I've never seen any significant difference in either.

well when i run it with test I can feel and see the diffrenc so ill go off that and the others that feel the same way.
its not needed in cycles but it is nice and I DO notice its effect so its doing somthing. :-)

id rec mast over it with test but its nice and worth it in MY op.

Seeing a difference maybe...due a reduction is estrogen sides...as for feeling the difference thats as strong as placebo effect. Ive seen many guys run bogus gear as well as bogus gh and tell me how great it is. To really see the difference you have to have controls to eliminate this effect..one group runs test and proviron the other runs test and just an oil substitute...blindly....not to mention diet and training need to be the same for each...then measure the difference.
