Have at it, wont catch me eating nearly enough of anything on that list to impact the calorie count anyways, lol.

Eating too much fibrous vegetables can kick you out of ketosis. That's the only restriction I can see.

can you explain this to me please?
If Ct is right and the carbs are just not absorbed it wouldn't happen, or is he wrong?

I would love to know if that statement is true or not. I am running a very low carb diet, but was under the impression that I am needing to limit my intake on veggies If that was the case.. I could eat till i was actually full-ish. I know lots of veggies dont give you that same "full" feeling.. but the mental game of sitting down to a small chunk of chicken and 6 Asparagus spears really gets to you some days! I dont think i would ever really go overboard anyways on anything while dieting.. but it would be fantastic to fill my plate with greens and not feel guilty!

i would think it would depends on the approach you were taking to get lean. if youre trying to follow a no carb keto style approach this may interfere. if you are eating carbs in your diet then i dont think eating a lot of veg will hurt you. in fact i found in the past if i increase fibrous carb intake it actually helps lean me out more than if im eating less of it. i also feel like eating a lot of greens like this helps make you at least appear dryer but that could just be my misconception.
i would watch the veg like colored peppers or anything containing sugars though

On a keto diet you need to limit veggies and the type of veggies as well...too much and you will get kicked out of ketosis.

P, would you see any Negetive effects of having large amounts of greens when running just a low carb diet.. Not a keto one? Bloating? Water retention? Fat loss slow down for some scientific reason? Would it slow down the progress of getting from point A to B?

Those green vegies are a life saver when i diet. I still count whatever is not fiber but the volume of food is higher so they do fill me up somewhat.

I eat more greens than anyone I know on a diet (except for my brother)...My wife, same thing. I do count the calories of them though, because there are calories and when I am lean enough, there actually is an amount of cucumbers I could eat where I would start gaining fat. But getting down to a few weeks out ripped can be done eating as much greens as one would ever want to eat in a day. The other thing though, is the dressings, etc would add up when you start eating "mega-salads"...even that 5 calorie italian dressing can easily add up to 200 calories of basically sugar calories in a hurry.
And don't be fooled by dressings that say 0 calories...fine when its a tbsp, but with unlimitted salad, you'd want the whole container everyday - and that's not 0 calories.

I dont see eating unlimited anything as intelligent...i think a moderate about is fine...a wheel barrow full not so fine...common sense rules here.

Sounds right but 4 weeks out from a show I don't have much common sense/intelligence and a wheel barrow full of salad would seem like a dream come true! lol
In actual fact I am sure I have neared that amount in a day in the last few weeks of dieting. I agree it is silly (now) but it makes dieting so much easier for me.
It never hurt my contest prep. Just have to be sure to cut it out a few days in advance to empty out your stomach/intestines/bowels so you don't have a distended stomach.
