So I have been dieting for about 8-10 weeks now.. and the only time that I can get to the gym is btwn 6pm-8pm.. I am lifting then doing cardio right after everyday for ~40min.
So that means that I am not home and eating dinner until like 8:45pm-9pm.
It just seems wrong to be eating that late at night. Would this effect my dieting/fat loss in anyways? or because its PWO its alright.
FYI diet i am following is Very low Carb - not quite Keto.. but thats another story!
thanks,
B
Is it your last meal after your workout ?
I have meal 4 around 6-6:30pm, 45-60mins later -> gym + cardio
Back from the gym was meal 5 (shake), an +- hour later was last meal + bed

Yes my last meal is right after working out.. I dont have time for a shake PWO. So it goes.. Shake - Lift - Meat & Veg - Bed.. ( sorry to clerify.. I dont have enough time at night.. to have a shake PWO.. then another meal about an hour or so after that.. that would put me eating the Meat & Veg meal at like 9:30-10pm..

no problem with when you eat before bed. What matters is WHAT you eat before bed.
Many times I'd eat my last meal around 11pm then 5 mins later hit the sheets.

when I diet keto style (until fats are removed) it's usually shake/nut butter or whole omega 3 eggs and egg whites.

Gotcha.. think it makes a huge diff? That meal is essentially my "dinner" So i am cooking then.. for that meal.. and my lunch meal the next day. Im not doing a Keto diet YET.. just really low carbs..

What about a lean cut of meat like an inside round steak?

My issue with cooking steak for dinner, is that it tastes like shit that next day. And i dont know about everyone else.. but what I eat for dinenr at night.. is what I am eating for one of my meals the next day. Im usually eating chicken, lean beef, or salmon when its on sale!
