What do you prefer from the above?

It depends on what you are putting it on. Personally, I think if you chrome anything on a bike it pretty much automatically makes you a douchebag.

Really Im the other way, if its chrome on a chopper then it can be really nice. I never got why you would put chrome on a truck? Unless you dont use the truck for work (then whats the point of having a truck) its just going to get scratched.

cause our bikes actually go fast enough that we need face protection from flying rocks and insects.

its not THAT different, its just pure beauty and performance at an affordable price. it has 180hp stock....no big deal...
you dont need to be an engineer to find the flaws in a bike that most people prefer to park and stand near because they are so pathetic at performance and handling. i understand the appeal behind choppers as they tend to make people think they look cool.....but when you wear a $10 dollar helmet, its usually to cover a $10 head. just a thought.

If you hit the pavement at 160 km/hr you will want a full face....I would be minus some features after getting knocked out cold on impact...woke up in the ditch with a long line of cars stopped in front of the bike in the dark on the highway.I slid for some distance.

your bike is quick dude, im aware. if you think you can beat mine youre sorely mistaken though. im only rocking a 600cc bike but it does 115 in first and gets there in 4 seconds.
i respect all bikes but i draw the line at chromed out gas guzzlers. for me riding is about handling and speed. i dont think every bike should be a sport bike. ive ridden sport touring bikes, dirt bikes, and even little cruisers. i have no issue with any of those. my issue lies with the bikes that people ride to "look cool" on.
no harley, or any cheap immitation harley will ever make anyone look cool, nor does the bike even perform the way it is intended (on the road). you can try all you want to justify having something that makes little ergonomic or aerodynamic sense but to each his own. i prefer bikes that one can actually counter steer in a corner.
you do know what counter steering is right?

brutally ugly bike dude. i dont understand the motivation behind spending THAT much on a bike that doesnt perform for the money.
its like spending $60k on that piece of shit thunderbird chevy came out with a few years back as they reintroduced it.
for $60k you could get a wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better car. there is no disputing this fact. if you want to pay more for less go ahead, but for what you payed for your bike i could prolly buy two bikes that are much more fun to ride and require 1/3 of the maintenance of yours. every time i see a bike pulled over for being broken down its almost always a chopper.

I dont require justification for riding a beautiful piece of machinery, that is actually engineered to last in miles, many miles, and can get up to 10 yrs warranty, i got 7 from factory, tail to front....
Rice rockets are engineered to last hours, not miles.....do some engineering research young engineer....:)
Not speaking of the bmws, or ducattis, those are in a league of their own, similar to Harley....But the rice rockets, are just wannabe, trng ground for a real bike.....IE, Harley...there is no other....:a+

Couldn't have said it better myself..... I.W. let him graduate from school first, get his first job and sell the starter bike his daddy bought him--- then after working for a few years he will be able to afford a Harley and be a credible source to pass judgment.

With pegs a few inches off the ground and so far out of the frame there is NO WAY these choppers and harleys can corner like a real street bike. Also come down from a wheelie without snapping your headset off lol. There is a reason why they are CRUISERS and not performance motorcycles that race on a track. Please take your harley to track day.

im being told how unmanly i am for riding a bike that is MUCH faster, corners better, overall much better performance and fuel mileage at a fraction of the cost of a bike that screams mid life crisis.
i got a bike last july and put almost 9k on it from july till nov. funny but thats about 1500k a month. hardly pussyfooting around when you work 3 jobs to pay for your own school and your own bike. i rode when i had time between commutes to work. i guess i could have gone with a $40k bike but id rather have something that can counter steer and reach speeds above a laughable 190ish. (i merge at 190 passing the cool dudes on really expensive bikes topped out in 5th lol)
Maybe riding a harley doesnt MAKE you a douchebag, but it certainly isnt helping your case when you roll up next to a bike with a smaller engine that will destroy you in performance. How you can ever pretend your bike will outperform a sport bike I cant even comprehend. Are you really that naive, or are you just saying it for arguments sake?

one guy builds a kite that fly's as high as it will possibly allow the rope to extend, its light, moves more quickly through the sky, and is generally very fun to play with.
another man builds a kite that costs literally 10x as much, it flys high but nowhere near the other one, it has a bunch of flashy (tacky) parts all over it that accomplish little or nothing, doesnt move as fast, and is much heavier to carry around.
who has a better kite?
When I was a kid all I wanted was a fast sport bike ( the ninja was what I wanted ) , but now that I'm a man I want a nice cruser like a Harley or a Vegas :)

#8...I never once mentioned performance. I raced professional motocross for 7 years and understand the fun behind riding a bike that is fast and handles like it is on rails. In fact, I have a 2010 GSXR 750 sitting in my shop (storing it for a friend) and ride it up the street every now and then because it is fun to wind it up and act like an ass. I always wanted a Harley and promised myself when I got my first job (I spent a long time in University), I would get one. I love my Harley, I am not a douchebag, and definitely not in a midlife crisis--I just enjoy spending my time and excess money on a comfortable bike.
....I am sure I speak for most guys on here.
Now keep squatting and getting all those hot girls....leave us old men alone :)

i have yet to MEET a harley owner that isnt more proud of his "bike" than he is of his kids, or wife, or job, etc. I will never understand the connection the owners of those bikes feel and how they feel superior to other riders on the road who own bikes that are just flat out better all around machines.
If riding a harley makes you feel good then do it. Good on ya. Just remind IW that his "peg scraping cornering" is only an 8 inch lean lol.

i scraped corners too on my 250 virago in my m2 test. you do not have to lean very far on a cruiser to touch the ground....that doesnt make you bad ass at all....

I dont require justification for riding a beautiful piece of machinery, that is actually engineered to last in miles, many miles, and can get up to 10 yrs warranty, i got 7 from factory, tail to front....
Rice rockets are engineered to last hours, not miles.....do some engineering research young engineer....:)
Not speaking of the bmws, or ducattis, those are in a league of their own, similar to Harley....But the rice rockets, are just wannabe, trng ground for a real bike.....IE, Harley...there is no other....:a+ Everyone wants to look like a harley, and there is no greater compliment than mimicking... But there is only 1.......
But when your bike stops blowing blue smoke, and you can finally get it running without shutting down after letting the clutch out 1 cm, come on back and try again son...

^^ chrome is far more "pimp" than straight black or gunmetal rims.
if your suv is black its way cooler to go dark rims than some shiny ass gangster shit. gunmetal or flat black all the way

i dont necessarily like this rim shape or size as I dont know what youre driving but this is the colour you should get.

those rims arent black. they are gun metal. its as dark grey as you can get without being black.
