Congrats to all the Canadian boys. Taking the two of the top 5 spots was quite impressive. Kind of sucks to see Belisle come into the show having been told there was a 202 lb. class to have to stand beside Centopani.. ah well...
Most impressed with Fouad Abiad. Definitely a top contender. Shitty that he only came out of this with 5k which I'm sure didn't make much of a dent in his prep. Be interesting to follow this one into the Arnold.

nice to see the scoresheet...looks like Fouad JUST squeezed into 3rd. Was really close between him and wolf.

Score cards are misleading since there's a 6 point difference between dex and Evan and there def wasn't a 6 point difference between those 2 looking at the pics.

i've searched the net but can't find any info, how do the judges come up with the numbers on the score cards?

I thought you said dex should have been 4th?

Its not totally misleading to me, the only way scores are misleading is if you had a fluky panel where everyone favors the wrong guy...I mean, someone had dexter in first...so chance could have had the full panel with dex in first, which would have been misleading, seeing as how he probably deserved 2.

It just means that the majority of judges had Evan winning, which I don't think anyone will disagree on. There were a few body parts Dex may have been equivalent on, but none that he had on Evan and that rear double bi sealed the deal, he made Dex look like an ant. He won this show flat out. Obviously the judges were flip flopping between wolf and fouad, because one judge was the difference betweeen 3rd and 4th.

Each judge ranks the competitors 1st through 15th usually and everyone else is marked as 16. The rankings are then tallied amongst the judges and the awards go to the lowest scores.
ie. 6 judges give Evan 1st place the total score would be 6.
if the 6 judges all gave Dexter 2nd, his score would be 12

A difference of 6 points would indicate that on average, each judge varied by one position in their rankings. The Head Judge should scrutinize any large variances which would indicate that someone screwed up their score sheets (shit happens). In the case of a tie, they would drop the highest score and the lowest score and then average the remainder.
