Pics starting to come in. So far from what i can see Dexter looks somewhat off and in my opinion Ben Pakulski looks better.

Agreed, looks much improved and the best out of the pack so far that includes Ben White, Dexter, Grigori Atoyan to name a few.....
Looks like Dexter has left the door open someone else to win.... looking forward to seeing Wolf, Abiad and Centopani.

Expect the unexpected. The 2011 IFBB Pro League season has officially started as Body Fortress presents the inaugural FLEX Pro Bodybuilding Championships at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. Prejudging has just concluded and we're in for a fight between Evan Centopani and Dexter Jackson.
Centopani seems to have added close to ten pounds of quality muscle since he won his pro debut two years ago at the New York Pro - with even tighter conditioning. Jackson, a tad off from his usual sharpness, relied on his trademark shape, symmetry and proportion to keep himself in title contention.
Dennis Wolf and Fouad Abiad appear to be locked in a battle for the third spot. Size and shape goes to Wolf, while Abiad has the advantage in detail and hardness.
With tonight's posing round added into the final scores, it will be interesting to see who will improve and who will fade as the race to become the first FLEX Pro Bodybuilding Championships comes down to the final lap.

Fouad 3rd, Ben 5th. Congrats to them both. Evan was looking great and deserved the win.

IMHO I would have swapped Wolf for Pakulski...better symmetry.. Yes, Wolf will always be the bigger guy of the two but when he turns to the rear...game over. NO Symmetry...legs too big for his calves, NO lower back, lats insert too high. Genetic differences will always cost him, regardless of conditioning. Personally I think they gave it to him because he's 'Dennis Wolf'..put Pak and Wolf side by side and it's Pak by a landslide.

You are probably right. The big difference was Wolf was better conditioned than Ben. If Ben would have come in a little sharper, I have little doubt he would also have placed ahead.
Ben by now is starting to make a name for himself anyways that will likely not be soon forgotten. The guy is a freak. His body stands out much like the legs of Tom Platz in his era, and the upper body of Markus Ruhl in his.
He may not have a Phil Heath - like shape, but he definitely has a physique that is never going to be forgotten!
so Congratulations to Ben and I am sure to expect to see big things out of him in the near future!

Congratulations to Foaud as well. As a Canadian bodybuilder I definitely admired his physique in the amateur ranks above all others, and was afraid last year he was loosing his waist line but I have to eat my words because he came back this year with the same great lines he's had in the past, plus better limb development and detail. I can hardly wait to see what he looks like when he dials it in even tighter!
Fouad a Great guy , but for me Ben p deserve top 3
Evan condition n asymmetrical , Dexter too small , evan politic overhype
it' a popularity contest

Agree... Ben was not as crisp and dry as he's been in the past but I heard that he had to overcome a few obstacles during his prep which might have cost him. If he shows up with his current size and the conditioning that he brought to the Nationals, he'll definitely do some damage.
My fear with Fouad is that he's put himself in good standing which was well deserved and that he doesn't compromise the adrenals too much by hitting too many shows in one season. Not sure if doing the Flex and then adding the Arnold and the Olympia will pan out as favorably as he hopes. Here's to hoping he proves me wrong :)

At least there is a long time between the Arnold and the Olympia, so I think he will be OK

Is there any video coverage of the show anywhere? ie finals, etc?
I've been checking the flexonline site but their updates seem super slow. The best coverage I've seen thus far was on Palumbo's site at rxmuscle.com
