Does anybody know of a protein that doesn't have much flavour and doesn't really thicken your shake? I've had a shake at a couple of the juice bars around and whatever they use doesn't seem to affect the taste all that much...

Right now I just use the Isoflex vanilla stuff...

Can't speak on the abovesupplement, but everytime I get a natural flavoured protien, it tastes like complete garbage (at least to me). I always mix cinnamon and stevia to these shakes, and it makes it tolerable.

Precision Iso-Pro and Kaizen 100% Whey both have natural (unflavored) options.

I would be careful here, flavorless != unflavored.

Unsweetend protein is some rough stuff, guaranteed to hit your gag reflex. They have to add sweeteners to overpower that taste, thats why its tough to find a shake that has a very neutral taste.

The two best 'lightly flavored' isolates i've found so far are kaizen vanilla and whey factory chocolate. The WF choc is my new fav though, very very 'light' taste.

our 100% premium iso has an easier taste than other unflavored and unsweetened whey and is literally almost as thin as water when it mixes. In fact, if all my shakers and mixers are in the wash, all i do is put a few scoops in a cup and stir it a few times with a spoon.

Love the kaizen line as well, and they're a Canadian company to boot!

I think PVL may have one too but I'm not 100% on that one. If I had to make a recommendation I would check out the board sponsors. They will easily have the best prices. Both True Supplements and True Protein also carry an unflavored version. I've used True Supplements and I have nothing but good things to say about their products. I've never used True Protein so I don't have an informed opinion. Don't forget that by purchasing products from the sponsors you help keep CBB alive.

Precision Iso-Pro

^^
This. I picked up some close-dated Iso-Pro a while ago for $35/5 lbs. Grabbed 3 chocolates + 1 unflavoured/natural.

I actually enjoy the natural, though I always mix it with OJ or with the chocolate.

It's a pricey protein though: $90+/5lbs... Personally I wouldn't buy it again unless I could get the same deal, seeing as u can get a 4.4 lb Kaizen for $40 or less in these parts...

I use the Lean Fit brand from Costco, they sell an unflavored, natural whey isolate protien powder. It stays quite thin when you mix it and basicly has no flavor. Great price for the 5lb tub, you can get it on sale for around $30.00. They also have vanilla and choc. in the same brand. I have been using the natural flavor for a while and have made good gains with it over the last year or so!

I am diffident about my answer but I think that the pure Whey is the one that is flavor less or else I have noticed all the products of Whey and other companies protein have some sort of flavor in there products.
