Hi everybody. So as promised i will post here all updates during my preparation for North America and CBBF 2011.

Sorry, I overlooked it as the missing pic took my attention right away. I checked your stats. Height: 5'8". That's some serious weight. What weight do you plan on being at for the NA's?

It's gonna be a BIG changement for me this year.
I was 225 ripped at Canada and i plan to be AT LEAST 10 more pounds.
And this is a very realistic goal.

Hi Hugheser my maximum weight before Canada was 257. But it was water and fat lol. So now 21 more pounds for the off season and leaner compared to the last year. I haven't finished my bulking. I still have a good 3 months to add some size before begining the diet.
We will see ... :-)

hmm no. My chest is genetic strong point. That's why i don't work it as hard as other body parts.
I will send another pic in side chest and let me know if it's still weak.
But off season because of the water we can't see very well the chest and the detail and it appear less round, full, ...

It's from the photoshoot i've done with MMI in september 2010 just after North American.

Dude I watched your video for arms. You are a beast! That is a shitload of muscle on your frame, amazing thickness, hope you can keep it as planned as you dry out....keep up the hard work, you create your own luck with your determination!

So Loutfi when will you start your prep for the Canadian Nationals or North Americans this year? I'm assuming you will just be doing the NA's because you already took the Canada's last year. Whats your current weight sitting? Hows the training going?

I will only focuse at 100% on the Canadian this year.
Yes i took the show last year ... but only my class the SH.
So the goal is to repeat it PLUS the overall and the pro card with it inchallah.

Hi everybody,

So here is the official announce and my preparation for Canada begins on strong basis.

My new sponsor is Dr Charest from Centre chiropratique de Vimont.
Dr Charest, with his treatmnet, is going to make sure that i have a strong spine so i can train heavy and intense.

I will try to put pics and videos during my preparation for the show. Training, diet, chiro treatment, posing, ...

Hi guys, my preparation for the nationals has begun. I was updating only my page facebook and forget to do it here ... sorry.
So i will do it now. Sorry for the delay.

Monday, jully 25th.
11 weeks out. Legs day. I do more sets this week. Great pump today for the legs. If i had trouble to leave the gym and walk to my car ... i'm on track. Feel good to feel that pain in legs .. hmmm !! ...
I just bought my secret weapon this evening ... a notebook ! As for all my contests i will write down everything i eat everyday : carbs, protein, day after day. Yes that's a lot of work but i pays off and you'll see the results of all this hard work in 11 weeks.

Jully 26th
Cardio plan : I begun my cardio 1 month ago with 15mn, 1/week. After that i went to 20mn 2/week and slowly added 5mn per session to reach 30mn. Now since last week 30mn 3/week. 2 sessions are done on rest days and before breakfast.
The goal is to adapt my body to use fat as energy. But also to have better heart, better pump, and better recovery.

Back training this morning. 4 sets per exercice, fast pace. And since a few days, i'm hungry, little headaches ... so yes, the diet has really begun now. ;-)

Traps, delts, hams and calves done this morning ... on my "fish day" :-)

August 3rd
Old school training this morning.
Back and chest ! Pulling, pushing !
Pump, blood, sweat, teares hmmm 'love it ! :-)

August 5th
Arms day again on my beef day (not big fan of this meat on precontest ...).
Triceps, biceps, triceps, biceps, triceps, ...
Strict form, pump, more machine, cables.
I kept dumbel and barbell for the last exercises when i'm tired.

August 8th
Yesterday was my beautiful cheating day !
"Pizza, fries, ice cream and lot of sweety things ! ... "
The diet was so hard the week before ... i didn't add a pound of water or fat.
My weight is EXACTLY the same between sunday and monday.
Hmm so sweet to cheat and staying lean ! :-)

August 9th
9 weeks out.
4 cardios 40mn/week. 5 training/week.
My body begin to change ... it takes a few weeks to really start the engine, to put it on "contest mode".

August 13th
Ich bin eine "SS". Saturday Sumo.
Sumo squat, sumo deadlift, to hit this f ... inner quad and hams.
Leg day was so crazy, ... when leaving the gym, during the drive to my store, i had to STOP ... i almost vomited in my car.
Now hamdoulillah. So yes i think it was intense today. :-)

August 15th
8 weeks out. One more cardio session. 5 training and 5 cardios 45mn per week.
I ate so much this sunday, i've gained 5 pounds ! lol.
I drink a lot water and don't lost it.
This morning i was full, and full of energy :-)

Cowabunga ! Back and chest this morning.
Feeling in the back is fantastic. FUUUULL !! So full, i've done a lat spread after my session, it's like i have and i feel a turle shell in my back.

What's on the menu for Big L.A. this week ?
Double contraction and 3 drops sets.
Double contraction on the 1st and 2nd set.
Drop sets 3 times on the last set of each exercise.
For sure with all that high intensity, i will do 3, 2 and some times only 1 set per exercise.

Great training this morning. Shoulders and traps hard as rock !
Double contraction are great to have that feeling.
Hams and calves at the end ... finishing with cardio on stairs 15mn.

I don't like to plan on the weight but i'll be around 230 pounds, so 5 more pounds than last year at Canada.

good luck, you gained a lot of weight in the offseason. Seeing that you are only going to be 5 lbs of lean mass heavier than last year, in retrospect would it not have been healthier and less dieting, to have kept your bodyweight down, and focused on packing on mainly lean muscle in the offseason?

No i would change nothing, because here you see only 5 pounds, wich is just a digit, i give it as an estimation that's it. The physic will be more mature, better density.
Also some time you plan a lot of things, and it's just don't happen as planned. With my opening store, my moving, ... it was hard for me to stay focused, i began my prep a little bit later. Hope it's enough explication mr Jason :flagC

^ agreed. Although time and time again I see guys who just don't look lean 3-4 weeks out, who somehow get it together the last couple of weeks. I like to look ready early, as in, I could probably get on stage 4 weeks out, and be in the top percentile of leaness. Those last few weeks ensuring the final details. But whatever works. Although, to be in contention for the overall, I would kick it up a few notches. In fact, I truly feel Loutfi would look best as a top end heavyweight.

Good work Loutfi....You look like you have put on some beef since last year.....I remember looking at your pics last yr, and i thought you were behind, but then you looked real good on show day...I do see that in same or better condition you did put on muscle...good work, i think if you keep up that level of gains, big things will come in a couple of yrs....Look forward to seeing the final presentation...

Thanks you Ironwill, i appreciate. Yes i put some good quality muscles. My only regret is have to rush for this preparation.
It was the same last year you're right ... behind schedules and last 2 weeks boom ! all the water out !!!

And NO it's not a ruse from me. Take a very good look at the pics ... i moved on jully ... this is the new appartement. So NO it's not pic from last year but from this year.
With my opening store, my moving on jully, i began my prep very late, middle jully wich allows me 12 weeks to prepare for the Canadian ... and it take me a lot of week to really be IN the precontest mode.
What i'm gonna do ? Give a 110% everyday. Everyday my physic is changing and i have 15 more days to go. So like i said i'll be ready !

trained quads/hams, bi's/tri's with big Loutfi last week. super intense and really got me into the rest-pause sets. we've been friends for quite some time now and for those of you who don't know him, he's a very nice and open guy. Very approachable and willing to help if you've got any questions. he also doesn't play around so be serious haha;)
