i had racoons in my attic causing me lots of grief, disgusting dirty garbage eating creatures really. i wished them a slow and painful death at the time. But i couldn't actually harm them as they are cute little buggers.

My mom used to raise orphan coons. They were very cute and fun until about one year old and then the wild in them took over.

Very true ! When they mature their instincts take over and they turn from cute little pets into nasty, vicious little bastards that'll steal the eyeballs out of your head and come back for the holes. I won't even slow down or swerve to avoid them in my car !
