This seems to be getting a lot of attention. So decided to make a quick supplement review for it to let people who have tried it let others know how it is.

If you want to give it a review or rating, you can always do so here

Been using it since Dec , love the pump & focus you get from it. No gitters. so far have had orange and the blueraspberry ( this one sucks for taste). Not sure the average user would know the difference from 250.

As far as I know SuperPump Max is not available in Canada through the legal channels. However, if you look for it you'll find it. The trend now in pre-workout supplements is germanium. SPM does not contain it. I really think Gaspari missed the boat on this one. However, the rumor is that germanium will be banned so it may actually be a good move for them.

Why is it illegal? I mean, obviously, it's one of the ingredients...but, which one?

Its not illegal , it just hasnt made it to alot of stores in Canada yet....it will. Really the trend now is more so "concentrate" , the other thing with MAX and most of Rich's stuff is you never really get to know what the "proprietary blend is" nor how much of what.

Does it have an NPN? Is True North bringing it in yet?

how is it different from super pump 250?

It doesn't contain alpha arginine ketoglutarate (AAKG) -- the main ingredient in most preworkouts -- which apparently does nothing for increasing NO levels, as was once claimed.

Actually, MAX clearly states what the prop blend is on the label + the amounts of SOME of the ingredients:

Branch Chain MTOR Stimulation Blend
L-Leucine (2 G), L-Isoleucine, L-Valine

PhosphoDRIVE Signaling Complex

Huh, apparently it's gotta be dosed at 12g/day (http://www.gasparinutrition.com/products/superpumpmax/), so maybe it does work...

I remember reading somewhere that it's garbage, sorry for any confusion :p

Ah, yes, there it was: "Besides, AAKG is proven not to increase nitric oxide levels in healthy people anyway so why use it when carnitines (3-4) and citrulline (5-6) are proven to in real scientific research?" Guess I did have it right the first time *rolls eyes + apologizes one last time*

Just to clarify: A few supplement companies have screwed up their labels and claimed to have GERMANIUM in it (e.g., Jack 3-D), but I think they are using geranium extract not germanium. Germanium is a non-essential element that was used years ago as an antioxidant supplement to boost the immune system....but it has been shown to be pretty unsafe. On the other hand, Geranium extract is a potent stimulant and would make sense to be part of a pre-workout supplement.

Do you know its "importing L-carn" or is it just L-carn strainght ban , in a recent visit to one of my supp stores i found a few products with it , however they were "made in Canada" does this make a difference ?

LOL Thanks man :)
In the offseason I work out in a cave and don't have a lot of access to the internet. But I figured it would be fun to be a smart ass and chime in ;)

Maybe I will start working out at your stomping grounds again for a bit. I like to change it up.

Talk soon!

lots of canadian companies make products with banned products in it. then when Health Canada catches them they play the dumb card. and do a recall, and get no charges laid or most of the time they don't even get a fine.

L-carnitine though is banned across the board in Canada! It has though passed the first reading to becoming legal again. Should know more by the end of this month if its passed the second and third readings to making it legal once again.
