Hey All. Say I go to the Blood Donor Clinic & give a pint of blood (which I'm about to do), and then later in the week I get my BW done for things like testosterone levels. Will my testosterone level seem to be increased because it has remained stable while I have lost a pint of blood, or will it remain in proportion to the blood?
(My hope izzat the blood donation will lower my RBC count for BW later in the week.)

I couldn't see any reason why it wouldn't remain proportional.

my brain is telling me it would go down
10 pints of blood in average body mixed with your test
you lose 1 pint
you now have only 9 pint with test and what ever new blood you make should dilute the test in the rest of your blood
im just looking at this from a volume standpoint i dont know any special body mechanism at work here for testosterone balancing

Thanks, guys. Makes sense to me.
I'm going to donate a pint on Thursday then get my bloodworkup done on Friday. That should bring down my RBC, don't you think? (Or maybe it's too soon after the donation?)

Blood regeneration is around 24hrs after your donation I believe, and red blood cells up to 8 weeks or so

You mean overall blood volume in 24 hours? Maybe, as long as I rehydrate and eat right.
But a well-known steroid-doctor on another forum warned me that the RBC count or H/H may stay the same for a period after blood donation. Something to do with its reaction or resistance to the blood loss, so he says I should wait 72 hours. Since my blood donation is tomorrow (Thursday) and I can't get bloodwork done on the weekend, I'm thinking of just going in later Friday afternoon. Monday is a long ways away.
Then I can inject some Test cyp & do some HCG & proviron for the weekend!:yeah

As far as I know, total volume should be back to normal in 24hrs, but at the same time, with my job, we aren't allowed to fly for 72 hrs after a blood donation, if you can I would wait until monday just to be sure
