Ok I am ninteen years old been working out for about a year and half and have gotten very good gains in that time. I am currently 6" 190 pounds Bench 245 deadlift 355 squat 315...Here is my problem I am currently at a plateau and cannot seem to get above the 190 mark. I have been this way for about 5 months now. I know i am going to be told eat more. This cannot be done I have my nutrition plan down to a science and eat about six meals a day all high calorie high protein but CLEAN foods..no fast food etc. I have tried and use countless supplements such as animal M-stak, Superpump, Cell tech, Battlefuel, Weight gainers such as mutant mass and muscle juice, Icon. Yet i cannot seem to get the results i am looking for..maybe it is just my age but i would like another 10-20 lbs. My question is really what anybody would recommend to get the weight im looking for whether it be a change in diet or workout, supplements, pro hormones or whatever it be. Please give your input whatever it may be.

First, welcome to the board and congrats on your first post.

I think if you were to post the diet plan that you use that you have down to a science, some of the scientists on here could probably give you some tips to help you with your situation...you're 19 yrs old so nobody here is going to recommend any prohormones or other "supplements"...so I hope thats not the help you're looking for.

When you get a chance, post up your diet and watch the feedback you get. People here will only try to help you and the expertise that you will be exposed to is beyond what you may have hoped for.

Good luck with this and I'll watch for your posts...

Okay ya i may have exaggerated down to a science haha but here is an average day I don't know exact amounts as my mother does the cooking.

Breakfast 6:30:
4 eggs
Bowl of oatmeal or cereal

Second meal on coffee break
Four pieces of bread with peanut butter
Yogurt
Fruit

Lunch break
Some type of pasta with sauce and sliced chicken breast
or Chicken and ham lunch meat sandwich with the works
With one of these i will have some type of vegetable usually, some almonds or nuts and one more carbohydrate product such as a cheese stick or something similar.

Muscle juice weight gainer shake in between meals

Dinner
Chicken, Beef, Or pork, The mother cooks great dinners ribs, steak, burgers and spiced or stuffed chicken is common
some type of carb potato, pasta, rice
some type of vegetable, brocoli in cheese sauce, veggies with dip

workout

Shake after workout

Before bed:
Big glass of milk, crackers with cottage cheese, varies

All my portions are fairly large
that is pretty much it. Maybe im just impatient and want to get huge fast. Most people say im big enough and ive gained alot in a year and a half or so but any advice would be appreciated.

Far from having it down to a science my friend, especially if your mothers cooking, lol.

One thing would be to start weighing and measuring your foods, weigh the proteins and measure/weigh carbs so you know exactly what your taking in, IF you want to be meticulous about it all.

Ditch the Muscle Juice and cheese sticks!

This just looks like the average high school kids diet, not something a bodybuilder would follow, No Offense! But you have a lot to learn if you want to make proper gains. Just read the magazines, there is a lot of info in them and sample diet plans and articles on what some of the bodybuilders eat. Research the net, you will find some guys diets outlines in journals and stuff like that you can learn from and get an idea of what these guys eat and take bits and pieces from all the info you learn and use it to suit your needs.

Rome wasnt built in a day bro and your in for a long ass journey if you truly want to be big or huge. I been at if for 20 years now and still am not satisfied where Im at.

As Jonny O says -
Far from having it down to a science my friend

You have to weigh and measure your foods as Jonny O recommended. I would say once you do that go to Fitday and figure our your macros. Report back to us when you have that data. Quick overview - you are not eating enough protein.

Like the guys say, you're going to be surprised how little you are eating once you get it all figured out. At least, how little of the things you should be eating.

If you research some of the threads right on this board, maybe Praetorian Q&A, you'll find some typical diets posted right in there that will give you an idea of what you're looking at. I've seen quite a few guys with diet questions in that thread so that would be an easy start.

Also, like JO says, its a journey so your not going to be 220 and ripped up for May long weekend...

Note some potential changes to your diet and post them for advice or questions...you see how quick you got feedback already. Once you have your diet potentially figured out, You're obviously going to have to sit down with your mom and show her your diet to see if she is ready and willing to buy and cook what you need..if not, bust out your cooking utensils as you may have to help out in the kitchen with precooking your food the day before..you're pretty lucky to have your mom cook for you.

Keep us posted....don't get frustrated. Once you get started and make your mind up, your gains will motivate you further

19 years old, i dont really know what your looking for secret tips? If you have gotten as strong as you are with your diet, its probably ok. I said ok, not great. Adding a whack of calories isn't going have the amazing effect, your dreaming about. You will most likely just put on lots of fat. Remember 10pds/year of pure muscle is decent upper limit for natural lifters. If your lifting poundages are still increasing with good form, I'd say don't stress it too much. If you want to get on a serious bulking plan there are many online to choose from. I have heard Dave Tate say he just puts olive oil on everything, when bulking.
