Get a job that requires you to show up when you want, pays great and has lots of fringe benefits...like a company car and travel account, a hot assistant that travels with you who gives you the odd road head job...and you get to wear nice suits which they pay for..I'm still lookin for it but if I find it, I'll let you know.......

Don't they say that about coaches?

Yeah. You're right. Wayne Gretzky couldn't have ever made it as a hockey player...

You're pulling out Gretzky for this? Wow!!! Crappy thing about your argument is he wasn't a good coach. He was just a great player!

Bwahahah. I need to do some market research as well as determine how much this year's competition bikini is gonna cost me. I am considering a sliding-scale pricing system for services, depending on what tax bracket the clientele falls within.

be a full time student, get A- in most of your classes and universities will pay for you to learn whatever you want scholarships have a pathetic amount of applicants and if you apply for 10 a semester with good grades you can probably grab 2 or 3 of those

im a welder, goto school for a few months come out and start off making 40 000 a year upgrade your tickets make more money ( depending on the province and who your working for ) good work, good people ( most of the time ) and your always having to challenge yourself ( unless your doing repetitive manufacturing bullshit ) and you can find work in any province so if you feel like moving its not a big deal.

I had a falling partner who's brother did this. At the time he was in the Gulf of Mexico and i remember my partner telling me how much he made, it was an insane amount of money. And the beauty was they didn't have to have the money here in Canada, it could be anywhere in the world, their choice.

Most schools don't require science pre req's that I've discovered just as some schools don't require MCATs. That said I will be taking chem, bio, physics (and organic chem) courses before I start studying for MCATs. I've not decided if I am going to do this yet. I'm still in discovery mode and have been in discussions with a lot of different people to help me with my decision because at 34 I don't have the luxury of time on my side.

Nate,

don't you have business degree? just wondering ...

natenator

As I understand med school doesn't require people with a sciences background in fact they often prefer people who dont as long as you have the GPA and/or pre req science fundamentals/MCATs.

The number of people I've met with lately that didn't start out in sciences (engineering, arts, laws, etc) is quite impressive and was encouraging for me.

That said, I went to school for business and mathematics.
