Not a fan, tried to order a slater log advertised on their site, they told me it could not be shipped to Canada. Tried to order a female oly bar, 4 weeks till it got to Canada, then would be shipped out from Edmonton. Also was no phone number.

I own this company: http://bellsofsteel.com/

Getting some more powerlifting/strongman specific equipment in the next few weeks like loadable wood logs, reverse hypers, Elite style prowlers and GHR's.

When it comes to any of these places it's shipping that will kick you in the teeth.

I drive into Edmonton and get what I need from Luckies Fitness . Same price as anyone else with NO shipping.

I just picked up a cambered bar for $120 - Next will be a SSB.

I don't recall seeing one , but the cambered bar ( for bench , not squat ) would work as it has the dip in the bar. I know its not the same , but it's what I am using for tricep extensions and curls :)

@ Talo. By July yes, I'm developing a line with a local GPC powerlifter. Looking into swiss bars, safety squat, any suggestions of what you would like to see in Canada?

As for the olympic bicep curl bar no idea.

Those are the two that I'm looking to pick up next.

Cambered bar would be another good one.

Just a follow up, I'm bringing in reverse hyper extensions, be here at the end of the month. As far I can tell I am the only one in Canada selling them, Rogue has them advertised but they are shipped up from the US:

damn straight bar kills my wrists when doing close grip bench. love the short olympic ex curl bar, but getting someone to hand it to you each time can sometimes be difficult. as it weighs more then the guy can deadlift. lol

thanks Shawn. i will check them out

Hey Ice Age, any interest in making a Football Bar - its got the angled handles?
My shoulders are so screwed these days I can't even do a log press without pain. But if I shift my grip on an angle it alleviates the pain.

thx

@Talo: It's a great unit, it i technically commercial grade, just a lot less expensive (Luckis is $1,895 and has to be shipped in from Quebec). It'll take a bit of time for the bars but we're working on it for sure.
@Shawn: We'll be doing either a swiss bar or the angled football bar, I'll keep you posted!

I'm looking to purchase straps and elbow sleeves? I didn't find these items on both of the websites. I bought my belts and knee sleeves from APT but the whole process was lengthy and costly.

How does this hit the posterior compared to the GHD?

To get into the extensive details you would have to talk to my Powerlifting rep, here are his contact details:

But to my understanding the greatest benefit of the Reverse Hyper over the GHR is it's ability to heal existing injuries and prevent future injuries from occurring, with the dynamic strength development in the concentric phase, the rehab occurs in the eccentric phase by creating movement of the spine and allowing fluid to flush threw the spine.

I was looking at your site and see that you will have an SSB on May 31st - I was going to go and pick one up , but I thought I would get it from you.

1) I'm coming to Calgary at the end of May for the GPC Nationals can I get it then ?

2) If not how much would it cost to send it on the Grey Hound ?

I can either pre pay or pay when I come down.
