Whats the price difference, is it that much more? And I assume they would charge extra if you wanted it ground up as well? I tried to get the dude at costco to grind a whole chunk of sirloin but they wouldnt do it lol

I use a butcher for all my meats and believe it or not. It is cheaper then the grocery store. I get Tbones and prime rib steaks at 6 bucks a pound

i get him to grind cross rib up into ground beef and i also can get moose and buffalo from him as well as elk etc etc.....Grocery stores a usualy a joke for meats lol i saw a tbone for 9 bucks and i got twice the meat for 7 bucks from the butcher.

We use a butcher for all of our meats also...Much cheaper and you can design your own cuts....We bought a half beef from thorgrim on here last time and he took to a butcher and we gave him the cuts we wanted and are very happy...Grassfed goodness...

Hmm good to know, will definately have to check out a butcher for my meats. Do you guys get your chicken from them as well? Or just beef?

Do they charge extra if you want stuff ground up? or is it always just by the lb?
