injection question (help)

guys, today when injected, i left the syringe in there for a lil bit so all the oil drips out. well when i pulled it out, no blood came out, but some oil started coming out, so i put a kleenex there right away so no more can escape, when i seen this, i was ****en pissed, it drove me nuts. This has happened to me a couple times before. Do you guys think this happens from injecting too quickly??, should i slow down the injectin process?.

also, when oil comes out, and i put kleenex there, obviously more comes out, but the kleenex absorbs it right??, this is really starting to piss me off as i thinnk about it more and more as the day goes by, please help me out.

it happens to everyone sometime........ its all about pressure..... easiest way for that pressure to be relesed is the same way it came in........ make sure yoou stay perfectly still and try not to move the needle around inside......

ya i think that may also be the problem, not staying still and moving the needle. but should i worry about the amount of gear that leaks out.

nope wouldnt worry about it..... not a big deal at all....

It's a very minor amount, and it happens to the best of us. Still pisses me off when it happens but you live with it and move on.

well do you think that if i leave the needle in there for like 3 minutes, then nothing will come out>?

I cannot see it as being a problem , this happens to me each and every delt injections , have not figured out a way to stop it , plus the amount that oozes out is so minor....no biggie at all

yes it is a minor amount, but then u cant say that u inect 'X' amount, when a lil comes out, ur that much less with gear in you, know wut i mean

your worried about nothing man.

there is a technique (z-something or other....proper name escapes me) where you shift your skin over, inject and then release the skin allowing it to go back to its natural position. this means that the hole in your skin is not lined up with the hole in the muscle.... no more leaking

Yeah its called z-track but its really hard to do in delts etc.... great for quads though :)

You're leaving the pin in WAY too long. Leaving your needle in the injection sight in the first place makes to sense at all... it's a myth that this technique will prevent and oil from escaping... if anything, it makes it worse IMHO.

Just shoot, and pull the pin out. Don't wait for anything. Once the pressure builds up inside the muscle belly, nothing will reduce it until the depot dispurses from the site gradually. Again, leaving the pin in won't alleviate this pressure...

I find that having an alcohol swab on the side or cotton with some alcohol on it, will close that pin hole RIGHT up. Next time, have a swab ready, shoot up, and as soon as you pull the pin out, place the swab on the injection site with some pressure for 10 seconds and voila... no leakage. The alcohol will shut that hole up real quick. Good luck.

i use a 1" for shoulders, 1.5 for glutes

That size is fine. I always leave it in for 20-30 seconds after injecting and oil never drips out and I use 1" all around.

Just thought of another question, how much cc's are you injecting at once? You can inject more in the ass since it is the biggest muscle but less for all other body parts.

i would use one inch, but i'm afraid that it may be too small for my ass, i still got some fat sitting there

on shoulder i inject about 1.5 cc, matter of fact, i inject 1.5 ccs all around
