I've heard its great for stretching, and am thinking about trying it- for both the apparent benefits and the ladies I see taking these classes at my gym ;).

Anyone here tried yoga? Recommend it? Will it actually be helpful or is it just a "lazy persons workout" as some say?

Yo, My girlfriend dragged me out to a hot yoga class and I gotta say I was surprised how much of a workout it was. Your right, it was awsome for the stretch. Ive actually gone back 5 or 6 times now. Really good for the flexability. Not something I do on a regular but definitley feels good after a tough week of weight workouts. And the eye candy is not to bad either!!

I've done it before, great stretch...and eye candy is always a good motivator! haha

Yea, I actually really like yoga. Great stretches and you get a good sense of well being from it.

I Wouldn't use it to replace any workouts though.
