Hi i am new on this forum, i just have some question about the opa bodybuilding competitions. I want to join a beginners competition, i went on opa website i found the rules, but i don't know how to join, and where to start. Can anyone help me? Or can i contact someone for some more information. I try to email someone on the website, but it didn't go through.

Try clicking on the "Join" button...then purchase a 1 year membership and decide what show you will do from the show schedule.

so i have to pay before i know what i am going to do. Cause i am not ready yet, i am cutting rite now, but i am not planning to compete this summer i don't think i am good enough. N i don't know any posing trainers, so i not sure if i wanna pay 80 bucks before i got some other info. Is there any way else i can get some info before paying?

Pay for your OPA membership (and show entry fee) the day of the show at the event.

like when i join, i can choose my weight class, they will have rules about the posing suits etc.. rite?? I am just trying someone to help me prepare or someone that knows some posing training in toronto.

All of that information is posted on the site. If you are looking for trainers there are a few who post on her including SS and myself...you will have to decide who is your preference.

Men Bodybuilding
Level: Weight Class:
Jr., Masters & Grand Master one class or
Light Weight (up to 165 Lbs)
Heavy Weight (over 165 lbs)



Junior Men/Women - Must be under 21 years of age as of the day of the show.

Posing suits must be of a solid, non-distracting colour which
conforms to accepted standards of taste and decency
- Posing suits are subject to approval at the weigh-in
- Numbers issued at the weigh-in must be worn on the left side of
the suit bottom

yeah i am just at the 20's bracket turning 21 actually this year. So junior fits rite in for me. For the trainers, i am a personal trainer myself, but i just don't have any posing trainer to contact. can't find any, if u are willing to train, i won't mind going with u, if u live around toronto. If u have a business card it would amazing, the pricing n info would be amazing.

never been to any. i just watch mr. O online etc.. But haven't been to a actual real life bodybuilding competition. n i heard to watch some competition before joining, but i just want to grab some info right now to see how i can prepare etc... n so i know wat gonna be coming up in the competition.

Go to a show and talk with the officials. They'll guide you in the right direction.
