View Full Version : Is there such a thing as a wrap that can actually hold a large amount of chicken?
Seriously? Every time I try to make a wrap with a bunch of meat in it, it all falls apart, the wrap splits open, and its a huge mess. When I switch to low carb eating I plan on eating 2 chicken wraps a day as part of my daily routine. I need someone to point me in the direction of a wrap that can actually hold a decent amount of chicken in it and not become a sloppy angry mess for me.
Thanks.

dont have one in mind but in the past i have found if you microwave them briefly or steam them they become much more pliable and stretchy, they wont bust open on you and you can cram them full
most wrap places but their wraps in a steamer/press dealy before making the wraps

Have you eaten at Mucho Burrito? Gawd, their wraps for the bigger burritos are monsters. When my BF eats there, his burrito looks like a swaddled baby! LOL
If they make the wraps there, maybe you can buy them. If not, why not find out who the supplier is?

I wrap mine in tin foil so I can wrap the shit out of it without busting the wrap. Just put your wrap on a square sheet of tin foil, fill with chicken, start rolling the wrap then use the tin foil to wrap it up tight. Start at the top and peel the foil back as you eat.
Good suggestions thus far. Thanks guys.
