Has anyone tried this or know anyone that has done it ?

My wife won one at my son’s hockey tourni and we were going to take it back to the store for the cash. Then we got to reading it and it looks alright. I think I'm going to start doing this.
Maybe not everyday, but it looks like it has some great stuff for recovery and flexibility. With the Yoga and such.

My wife does it occasionally and I have some friends that do it all the time as well, I have no interest in doing it, but it seems decent for conditioning but it's not something i'd do every day with lifting...I have tried the yoga one for stretching though it it was hard! It seemed waay to much like work.

like most fitness and nutrition programs. if you follow it to the letter you will get results, more functional strength and endurance then building any muscle

I did it for a bit. Then my testicles fully formed and I picked up weights.

That is all.

Like most of you have said , I think I will give this a shot a few times a week for conditioning . My cardio is shit right now and walking on the treadmill is not making it any better.

Oh, I wasnt aware it was a competition. In that case, Im sure I can outrun him. Pretty bad ass.

Maybe.

But there is no reason to turn things personal. This was a general question looking for a general resonse.

Plus this has been around for how long ? 2 years maybe ? Took you long enough to fully develop :D

Nate made is personal, as usual. I just made a joke considering you train with some heavy ass shit already, and in a million years I didnt ever think you would use such a system. The guy in the videos is highly annoying and keeps yelling "beach body" at you for the whole workout.

Gotcha !

I'm not in it to get stronger , but I am in need of something grips to kick my ass into cardiovascular shape. Plus it was free :)

This only works because people are too lazy to make their own plans to follow(or hire dietician/trainer)!! This guy has a good idea and made millions off of other peoples complacency!

My bet is that the guy behind P90x is ON.So in reality he's selling a dream to most of these people who have never exercised on a steady basis in their entire lives.

so what if he is? he works out and sells a workout, he diets and includes a working diet, he does steroids and does not sell steroids, what is your point?

i personally know two people that have done this, my sister and a buddy of mine at the gym, they both had great results following the training+diet, but in a bodybuilding/powerlifting POV i think there is better options but for each their own, and if you try this post up results good luck talo! haha "BEACH BODY!"

I have an open mind and just because I powerlift ( which may be over ) doesn't mean I think other things are no good or do not work.

Exactly what my post says. The same as any new fangled contraption sold on TV that claims you will have amazing muscles in no time at all.Wouldn't it be interesting if a group of disgruntled buyers got together and claimed they were misled by the advertising, that these results were only possible if you were using(the guy is 50 IIRC),and demand that he submit to testing to prove it?In the time frame claimed most somewhat sedate people will simply not be able to follow, recover and adapt to this program,a lot of people are very out of shape by 30....if you're coming down from a larger muscular weight and are used to training hard...yeah.Just my opinion.

I'd like to see them prove that they followed the plan to a T, let alone the diet to a T. I do not think I have seen an ad that has claimed to be able to turn them into him, just the best you can be and as close to his body as their own body will allow.

I do understand the bullshit around the product but isnt the entire supplement business also built upon those lies?

One of the ladies in my office was doing it. she was starting from scratch so it was kicking her ass. It sounds like a great starter program. I know she was tired and sore but never saw great results for her. Just as any program you have to have dicipline and consistency.

I know a guy and his wife you were using P90x, the trimmed down and he could see his abs. as already stated for cardio i think its a good thing. he tried to tell me to quit the gym and just use this program, i said NO. He's brainwashed, anyone with any knowledge in nutrition and fitness can easily do what P90x will do for you in 90 days at the gym.

I did download it and will use it though, but not as my main source of fitness. i like the yoga section.

the truth is that most fitness programs work. people just think that when they find a program that works for them that it is the best program ever. Do what you can do consistenty and that feels rewarding, that is the program you should do despite others opinions.

If you love P90x, great do it. I love lifting weights, Im gonna keep doing that.
