Anyone here work in law enforcement, how do you like your job for those that do...would you have chose a different route now if you were to do it from the beginning?

My wife's brother was a cop for a few years.It took a bit of a toll on his relations with other people.He had other opportunities,he left after a few years.He's back to being himself.
