Hey everyone, had my friend from Edmonton come down this week to teach a course on Kettlebell Sport. I'm going to be using it to supplement my strongman training. It's heavily based on technique and controlled breathing, obviously technique is a big part of strongman but breathing control is often overlooked and is essentially in many of carrying events (super yoke, conans wheel etc). Here's the first part of a series I'm putting on my youtube channel about how to get started

Careful with that Kettlebell crap-ola, its a good way to make money sure, buts its a great way to lose a lot of hard earned muscle.
A bud of mine got into it, and saw the $ signs. Ya he makes boat loads teaching it, some members are paying $150/mnth just for kettlebell classes. BUt while he was doing this he didnt realize he was chewing into a shit load of muscle. He went from bodybuilder to fitness model in one season.

Yes they are heavily condition based, so if you're a bodybuilder its probably not a great idea to exclusively do conditioning workouts, and it probably will chew into your muscle. My prior post was about using them (in particular the sport version) on conjunction with strongman training. So the goal being performance, not looks, and to use them as a supplement to implement training.
