So I am looking to take a vacation in the next couple of months. I am thinking of an all inclusive resort where I can get hammered and swim around in a pool all day, while hitting on other tourists.

Something not too expensive either. I was thinking of the domminican rep? Where do you think Durk would have the most fun with the least likely hood of being killed or arrested?

Cancun or Varadero. I don't know if I would risk DR with the cholera epidemic in Haiti. Key question is what age you're looking at hitting on. The cheaper resorts where young people (students) go on the cheap or the more expensive ones where older single folks go (key words to look for when shopping - Adult resort) - where hopefully the food and hotel are better.

The only one I can think of for Varadero as an example would be Barcelo Solymar for younger folks. It's also next to the town so you can hit the local nightlife if the hotel doesn't strike your fancy. More expensive - Temptation Resort, Cancun, which i'm told can be a pretty wild place. **EDIT: I did some more research on this and it's more oriented towards couples and NOT single guys. My buddy who told me this place was awesome because he hooked up must have been lucky :)**

If you really want debauchery, time your vacation around spring break in Cancun :)

In the end whatever hotel you go to, you'll meet some single folks at the bar.

Temptations in Cancun...really cool resort! You will LOVE it there!

Christine reminded me of something - if you're travelling alone, some hotels will charge you a single supplement. Others won't. It all depends on the time of year and how full they are. When I went to the Caribbean in April I had to fork out 200 bucks. In October a buddy went to Barcelo Marina Palace in Varadero and didn't pay a single supplement.

I have been twice to temptation Cancun and it rocks however I am maried but it seemed like a good mix both times. I have also hit up Cuba 6 times and Barcelo Solymar and Arenas Blancas which are next door to each other seem to be a great area for the younger singles.
