Hey there, I am both new to the board and new to trying to build muscle.
I used to box and kick box had a neck injury and gained weight lol lost my muscle, when i had it it wasnt that big i didnt really concentrate on building.
Now I want to build, I have been going for 3 months now, i go 5 days a week seperating each day (arms, legs, chest, shoulders, back) cardio everyday, i started in on a few suppliments, as of today i use Superpump 250 Pre workout, monohydrate creatine before and after workout, and Protein shake after.

I am not skinny 235lbs but am not fat. i would say i am overweight but with some muscle. any hints or tips would be great, i been doing lots of reading and anything you guys could suggest would be great!

Just keep reading, learning and asking questions. Stay consistent and understand it's all about what you eat.

get back into your kickboxing for cardio, get lean then focus on getting big

thanks, ya i have been watching what i eat, i dropped the superpump last night and am now trying xtravol and been keeping up with multi vitamin.

jackthethriller, i would do the kick boxing again but just not really into it any more, i do 30 min of cardio and core exercises everyday and some weeks i go for a 6th day for a cardio and core only day.

Good supplements are fish oil whey and multis, maybe some glutamine bcaas and creatine if you need. Other then that diet is definitely the biggest key player. You already seem to have a good routine going on, although you might want to give a days more rest for your body. Try doing chest/triceps one day, back/biceps another, legs and shoulders or keep them separate. Either way rest, nutrition and hard work are key to putting on a lot of muscle.
