Hi first post ever. My question is what sort of supplements I should use for maximizing my muscle gains. I recently lost 55 lbs and have been weight training for 6 weeks. I would like to gain lean muscle mass now.
Here is what I am taking now.
Rapidcuts
Animal multi-vit
Testo-fx
Superpump 250
Allmax glutamine
And now adding quickmass today but cutting the serving size to 1 scoop.
Anything I can add or should get rid of?
Oh and I am finished with the rapid cuts. Also I been following the south beach diet.
Thanks

First, congrats on losing 55 pounds! That's a big achievement! You should be proud of yourself.
I'd be more curious what you're eating on a daily basis.
Supplements can be useful but only as supplements, not replacements.
Personally I'm not big on stimulants, thermo's or any of that.... I would drop the Rapid Cuts, especially if you're trying to bulk?? Ah.... I just read that you are finished with the rapid cuts. IMO, good choice.
Superpump 250, I guess if you want to feel a little bit more amped up for a workout you can use it but I prefer pure Arginine Powder instead, possibly with some pure creatine mono powder. That said.. I just received a sample pack of Super pump 250 in the mail today so I'll be using it before one of my next workouts just mix it up a bit and give myself a bit of a pre-workout boost... Again, I wouldn't take something like this regularly because it makes me feel too jittery sometimes.
A Multivitamin is good but make sure it's an Organic Vegetable Capsule and not a rock hard tablet... Your body will absorb the organic caps much easier and there's less "filler" in it. They are a bit more expensive than tablets but WELL worth the money.
You said you're looking to build lean mass? The Quickmass is full of sugar and has an unhealthy amount of Saturated (BAD) fat in it. Plus it's over 1000 mainly empty calories per serving? Your body won't use much of it.... I'd rather eat a nice piece of salmon. Or.... why not pick up a quality Isolate Protein powder instead? That will give you the protein you're looking for without all the sugar, empty calories and totally unhealthy saturated fat. If you want some extra calories in your shake, add some cold milk, a banana or other fresh fruit that actually has nutrients, fibre and minerals your body will want and use.
:)
That's just my own opinion... try the products yourself since you have them but I find most of the supps you'll find at "Fitness" stores are overpriced, overhyped and not worth much.
You're diet, sleep and consistency in the gym is going to be what makes the difference.
So how's your diet looking? Keep up the hard work, I know you've been putting a lot in already if you've lost 55 pounds! Be proud of yourself.
Best of luck,
Mr Ontario

Get rid of everything, get a good protein powder (for convenience), creatine monohydrate is good, caffeine for pre-workout energy, fish oil and vita d for health.
I also have to add, like others have said above me, your diet is much more important then your supplements so focus on perfecting that first, the supps might add 5% to the results but the diet is closer to 70% IMO,

Ya bro, take that mass drink back, or give it to your little brother for xmas. You deffiantely dont want to consume those kinds of calories.
Wanna here a secret to the most anabolic you will ever be, EAT. I'm actually not trying to be a dink, a good well designed meal plan will get you exactly what you are looking for.
As far as supps to help. My staples are a GOOD 3rd gen creatine, and tribulus. A whey isolate for good calories post workout. AND WHAM.

Well this may be a huge question but eat what? I guess the biggest problem and I would wager mine to is with all the crap out there people don't know how to eat proper anymore. So what kind of meals should one be eating?

Start by giving us an outline of what you are eating and we can suggest improvements.
What is a typical day of eating for you?
Sean Summers

Start off with 4 solid food meals and 2 shake meals.
So you may do something like:
Meal 1
Egg whites and oatmeal
Meal 2
Lean meat (beef, chicken, tuna ... etc)
Potato, yam, rice
Meal 3
Shake with dry oatmeal mixed in
Meal 4
Same as 2 (I like beef)
Meal 5 (Post w/o)
Shake with fast carbs (gatorade powder, dextrose...etc)
Meal 6
Same as 2 (I like chicken, turkey or fish)
If you need veggies pick up some Veggie Greens.
Don't worry about amounts at this point - just start eating. Also, eat protein first and then eat carbs. If you are still hungry after the meal increase your protein first.

typical day for me is 3 V-8's and some meat for supper. If that. Most of the time I eat a good supper. I have been that way since I was young. Never did like breakfast.

I was going to mention something like you may be better suited for lawn bowling but I won't. I'll just leave by saying "Flame on!"

Listen to Sean Summers, he gave you a great outline.
If you go from what you are eating now to that I am sure you will be shocked by your progress.
If you are only eating 1 meal per day I would recommend to probably slowly increase your meals until you get to his outline.

Remember now I been obese my whole life. Hell this time last year I was weighing in at 270 and I'm 6'3". Now I'm down to 215 my strength is improving I have noticed. Hell 2 months ago I couldn't even do a pull up. I feel great. I don't know how to eat proper never did.
6 meals a day? Ok I can try that.
Maybe I should go see a nutrionist get that squared.

Going to chat with a nutritionist is a great idea. Thumbs up.
So what kind of meals should one be eating?
This will depend on your own personal goals but from what you've posted, there is lots of room for improvement on your current diet of V8's and one or two meals.
A couple quick recommendations for you:
Start buying and eating more fruit like Bananas, Apples, Nectarines, etc... They are easy to carry around or throw in a backpack, they are loaded with nutrients, vitamins and fibre that will improve your overall health and energy levels.
From what you've posted about yourself, I take it you're not looking to become a super competitive bodybuilder at this point in time but want to get to a reasonable weight, improve your strength, increase muscle and improve your overall health.
Include real vegetables in your diet. The V8's are simply not good enough. Add spinach to your sandwich, throw on a slice of tomato, etc... BBQ'd asparagus is delicious with dinner and raw carrots are a great snack throughout the day.
Salmon and other fish are excellent sources of protein so you don't have to eat chicken and red meat 4x's a day and also have some healthier fats in them that your body will use to give you energy.
Drink lots of water!
OH, you mentioned you weren't big on breakfast? MOST IMPORTANT MEAL OF THE DAY BUDDY!!!!!! EAT BREAKFAST! ok?!
Best of luck, congrats on wanting to improve yourself, keep it up.

It is normal to feel bloated when your GI tract is not working properly, when you have candida, fungus or parasites.
Or some form of food intolerance as well.
