DAA doesn't convert to estrogen but it increases test which then aromatizes to estrogen. It also increases progresterone, prolactin, gh, lh and does a whole bunch of shit in rats, in humans only the test/sperm angle has been studied but we are assuming it screws with other hormones too.

I tried it for about a month and got a nice increase in sex drive, assertiveness, testicular size. After that I started getting itchy nips so I stopped right away.

I compete as a natural and DAA is allowed, not banned by WADA but most of the natural anti-estrogens are banned ironically.

If you are natural DIM is probably the only natural estrogen modulator that does something so you should look into running that with it. If you are not natural then I would run a low dose anti-e with it or at least have some on hand.

Dim = Diindolylmethane or 3,3'-Diindolylmethane

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3,3%27-Diindolylmethane

http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/dim.html

When you read the studies it's pretty complicated to understand, the first thing you need to understand is that there are 3 types of estrogen's, then each type is broken down in sub-types.

17b-hydroxy estrogen is a bad estrogen that increases cancer growth and binds the estrogen receptor (ER) in breast tissue.

2-hydroxy estrogen is a safer estrogen, that doesn't bind to the ER and that can easily be eliminated by the body.

DIM favors conversion of 17b-hydroxy estrogen into 2-hydroxy estrogen. It's used by naturopath to treat breast cancer or help prevent breast cancer. Poliquin and Author L Ray both recommend it.

I read up on estrogen, aromatization and then studies and although its complicated DIM seems to have lots of people recommending it and the studies seem to support what it does.

Yes, we're re-doing all of our descriptions.

Cissus - 1-2 capsules 1-2 times daily approximately 30 minutes before eating.

DAA - typically a single serving of 3-3.5g daily.
