I just ran my first 16 week keto diet. Went really well and throughout the entire time, i managed to keep my diet quite strict (with a minor slip here or there).

I've been finished for 6 days now, and slowly introducing carbs but having a VERY hard time not eating garbage. Some how things were much easier when following strict keto, but now i get these cravings and cant seem to control them. Things like cookies, or choc covered almonds, or icecream or shit like that :(

Any advice on how to curb these cravings?

I like to keep the diet very strict 6 days per week and have a "refeed" day once per week, even off-season, save the crap for 1 day per week and follow the plan the rest of the time.

That actually sounds like a good idea. A refeed meal once a week even in off season might help me keep focused mentally.

One more trick I have is that I do cardio off-season either twice per week 30min or 3 x 20min.

I would feel stupid eating junk all the time when I know that I need to get up next morning to do cardio, I don't want to waste my time doing cardio for nothing so all the food that I eat is to support my goals, minus the 1 day refeed.
