Yes it does...if a pulse of endogenous GH is near the timing of the exogenous injected GH then a reverse feedback loop will cause the pituitary to shunt the natural GH pulse. Because GH is pulsatile multiple times per day and night you will not shut down your natural GH production by injecting exogenous GH a couple times...only during that specific time....this is the reason to avoid taking it before bed as the largest natural pulse of GH occurs about 2-3 hours after falling asleep.
