ok so i will be starting cutting again tomoro.wll be going at this starting with a keto approach, if it does not work out well i will switch to carb cycling but game plan is keto for now.
starting with 25 min pwo cardio 4-5x a week, will be doing one cheat meal a week.
diet looks like;
meal one- 4 eggs, 4 egg whites, 3 cm cube feta( once in a while)
meal two-protein shake, plus 1 tbsp natty PB
meal 3-6 oz chicken breast 1/2 cup almonds
meal4 pwo shake
meal5-6 oz eye of round steak, cup green lettuce 1 tbs vinegrette dressing
meal6-5 whole eggs.
pretty much the palumbo diet for now, as fat loss slows i will be first lowering fat, then upping cardio, then switching to pro/ veggie days. dont want to exceed 45 min cardio per day, not doing a show just want a solid 4 abs showing for now.
my main goal is to get down to this and maintain... last time around i got down to 178 and was not happy with my muscle mass, put on some solid meat i think with a 23 week bulk. but now i am happy with the size i added and want to display this without the fat. i will get some pics up soon and weight tomoro a.m.
any critisism greatly apreciated.

i have been doing 2 weeks bulk 2 weeks cut for 6 weeks... but from what i have been reading between P and other things keto is a good way to preserve that muscle ? im not going for the fast weight loss slow and steady like i said i want to keep gains. how long do you think i should wait jonnyO? my serious bulking has been over about 8 weeks now... thanks for all the support guys appreciate it ...
starting weight is 222.17 this a.m( all weight ins will be before any meals and after mourning pee)

Well my take on it is, Keto is last resort. Like you said you are in no rush so what you can do is move your carbs around and do it that way. Keto works great but if your going from a bulking diet with carbs, etc right into a Keto diet expect to drop a lot of weight fast. I generally throw guys on a Keto type diet if they seem to be getting behind on their diet and time is of the essence, and these guys are usually carb sensitive people. I prefer to go the carb route and see what happens, I usually know what to expect and if they arent making the progress I'd like I will try dropping carbs a bit lower, if they still seem to be losing weight stubbornly then I will put them on Keto type diet.

yea i am in no hurry... interesting though... i understand that dropping the carbs completely would have that effect but from reading around i thought that keto used fat in place of carbs more or less as energy and to use to fuel... so didn't think that it would be that much of a difference for the body after it adjusted to the fat for energy instead of carbs( getting into ketosis)...
so carb cycling in your opinion would be the best start and work towards a keto eventually... that is what i planned on doing but after reading more it seemed that keto preserved more muscle in some opinions, hence why i was going this way... definitely have to think this out AGAIN.

It's person to person, I know I lose muscle on Keto, not with carbs. Keto diets suck plain and simple theres nothing fun about them. You need to play around and find what works best, and you are in no hurry or deadline, and I think you would do better with carbs, and no need to even phase it into a Keto as you should be able to reach your goals without it. With the right amount of time anybody can get to where they want to be, just need to make the right adjustments and do everything correctly.

ok i will try this out yea keto is a pain and i'd rather have some carbs in diet helps for cravings i find as well as energy levels are usually higher...
ok so diet will be then
high carb day
meal 1- 1 cup oats, 8 egg whites
meal 2-1 cup oats, 50 gram protein shake, 1tbs natty pb
meal3- 1 cup brown rice, 6 oz eye of round
meal4(PWo)-50 g protein plus 1 cup oats
meal5-6 oz chiken breast 1 tbsp pb
meal6- 4 whole eggs 1 tbs pb
low carb day
meal 1- 1/2 cup oats, 8 egg whites
meal2-protein shake t tbs pb
meal 3-6 oz chicken, 1/2 cup brown rice
meal4(pwo)-protein shake, 1 tbsp natty pb
meal5-6 oz eye of round
meal6-4 whole eggs, 1 tbsp pb
high carb mon,fri,sun, low carb tues,wed, thurs,sat.
that look ok ? and from there take away carbs by half on high carb days, and eventually have just med carb days and no carb days ?

ok so still on the keto train going good. down to 217.6 this a.m so water weight should all be flushed away now and hopefully fat starts moving. goal is to be at about 190 then maintain for a while before a hard cut down to the 8% bf range.

ok so i had a great weekend of eating like crap... wow not even 7 days and i messed up, no excuse for it except for i wanted wendy's and that was the day after my re-feed. oh well back on the horse tomoro diet is changing to carb cycling too because i am going to be starting boxing again... i know it will kill muscle but i can't stand not doing it anymore miss it too much... any advice on anything to do to help preserve my muscle with doing my boxing training it is roughly 2 hours of high intense cardio...im going to try and do boxing 4 days and weights 3... trying to do weights on off boxing days but will overlap sometimes. so any suggestions on supps or diet please post up....only good thing is last time i started boxing i dropped from 250 never hit weights before to 178 where i faught at in about 4 months time... so fat loss should not be the issue here, but muscle preservation on the other hand.

ok so my diet is a same day thing right now started boxing on tuesday so been killing it have a tourny mid February. fighting at 178...so i guess im on a time line now. weight started at 222, down to 212.8 this mourning so roughly 10 lbs so far going to keep pushing.. the high intense cardio is a muscle killer for sure but i really want to fight so guess i gotta live with it.

still about 212lbs last weeks weight must have been low water.... this is killing me in order to make 178 by jan 28th i have to be loosing roughly 3 lbs a week.... do you guys think this is to high of a set goal i have about 9.5 weeks. i would play with water weight a little bit when i get down to 183 but if i win first fight then i weigh in before every fight of the tournament.. currently cardio due to boxing is about 2 hours 4x a week...
diet is:
meal one 6 egg whites 2 eggs, 1 cup oats
meal2- half cup oats 50g protein shake
meal3-6 oz chicken 1 cup brown rice
meal4-6 oz eye of round, 1 cup green lettuce 1 tbsp vinegrette
meal5(pwo)-50 g protein shake and 1 cup oats
meal6- 4 eggs 1 tbsp natty pb
i thought this would have been enough to loose for about 3 weeks but seems like i have to reduce al ready any input appreciated.
i am also doing 1 cheat meal a week none have even been bad though pasta and chicken or sausage with small dessert..
