Blackberry Messenger makes my blood boil. We have a generation of retards who are, unlike their parents who were glued to large tv's, glued to tiny 3" screens of text. They pretend like its mission critical while they secretly type a message about how last nights re-run of ALF was only the second best of all time.

I really enjoy my BBM as I hate talking on he phone.

I agree with the blue toof head sets, but with the new laws you kind of need them while driving. I seen some guys in the gym wearing them or at restaurants....come on!

bbm is awesome, way better then calling or sms text, I agree with the headsets though, should be used in vehicles only...everytime I see someone walking around with one in there ear I want to hit them

This falls into the same category as the twitnits.I was under the impression most BBM users were more serious types.

BBM works great for business. It's nice to be able to send out instant info to multiple people at once. What takes 30 mins of talking on the phone can be done in 30 seconds.

There are idiots texting the shit out of each other on many devices, I don't think RIM is to blame here.


I find the iphone crowd and all their apps much more annoying; "look, my phone can wipe my ass" - while they finger **** their phone screen like Tom Cruise on the computer in Minority Report.

How is BBM any different from txt messages that every other phone uses, did you just sell all your RIM stocks and your pissed off or something?

For me I don't really care if you finger **** your iphone, BBM your RIM, txt with anything or spend all day with bluetooth on your ear. All the power to you.

What pisses me off is the people who completely disregard everyone around them to tinker with their phone. You know the one who will be sitting at a group dinner and start txting or answer their cell phone and start talking in the middle of a library. I went camping with a large group of people last summer and one girl spent the entire time ****ing with her cell phone. Nothing wrong with the cell phone, everyone there had one but managed to socialize with the people in front of them and have fun. The problem was with the person who refused to put it down to socialize. If she did start chatting with someone who was there and her phone beeped, she would pick it up and resume txting in the middle of a conversation, completely ignoring whoever was in the middle of a conversation with her.

IMO unless your job depends on it or its an emergency, the people in your company should have precedence over your phone.

I don't hate the technology, it is great. It's just another method for rude people to be rude. Without cell phones these people would find another way to be **** muffins.

Lol Forever.. Last night my daughter and boy friend came over for the evening, we had a good visit, played some monopoly and had a couple brewskies. The problem was her BF kept texting, it was non stop. So i went to the "bathroom", got my phone and text him "get the f**k off the phone!!"

His face was red when i came back into the liveing room,,,, he stopped testing, lol.

I don't think the problem is RIM though, its just rude people using a tool made by RIM to be rude. I know what your saying though, that girl we went camping with, I wanted nothing more then to toss her ****ing Blackberry in the lake or fire.
