I've been following a yates style program for the past couple weeks. Few warm up sets then one set to failure in the 6-8 rep range.

Dunno if anything is working really but I don't really care either. Between coaching football 3 days a week (10 hours), hockey 4 days a week (6.f hours) and working 50+ hours a week my gym time is hampered so this is perfect for me right now. I love getting in my training in under 30 mins plus 35-45 mins of cardio after.

So anyone done his legwork for a longer term? How did it go?

I decided to switch it up. Pre-exhausting with leg extensions seemed really counterintuitive but I liked my last workout. I switched a few things though. Squats for leg-presses and I didn't do as many reps for hamstrings. I always thought that high reps for hams was useless - had to hit them hard.

dorian change his mind about exercises every years... I remember him saying clearly that the decline bench press is very bad for your shoulders and now he's saying the opposite on bb.com, saying its the best angle.

As for bb squat, in the mark dugdale dvd(a week in the dungeon), he said squat are great for quads when you do it near end of your leg workout. If you do it first, you'll be alot stronger, but the tension will be in your glutes, hams and lower back. But if you do leg ext, legpress or hack squat and then bb squat, its will be all quad and hell yeah its true and working great!!
