From summer 99 until today I have been able to reach pretty much all my goals, and whenever I didn't I could learn something about it.

In August I had a disk problem while Box squatting 300X3 and stayed away from doing legs so far.

Them I went to Brazil for 3 weeks, my work outs there where just for maintenance (3X a week benching and pull ups/8-12 sets).

Came back just after labour day and have been doing a bunch of different stuff, keeping active but not training for anything.

For various reasons I decided to not play volleyball this season and concentrate in fitness.

This week I started training using volume and different tempo (I did a lot of strength work before hand) and Loved it.

I squatted again and everything is great in terms of training.

Now the goal: in May I am turning 40 and I want to be in the best shape of my life next summer.

No I believe that something was wrong already and the box squat just exacerbated it.

I didn't go to the beach while in Brazil but I can tell you that I managed to have fun..
