YEAH..its the 1380mg of sodium that is bad about this sandwich. Why is it we get so worked up over sodium? There is the same amount of sodium in 2-3 pickles...no one is giving pickles a bad rep.
Looks yummy though :)

kfc chicken has become so gross over the last few years that I don't even bother anymore. I still like fried chicken but the safeway or sobey's deli chicken is so much better that kfc is off the list

I like Mary Brown's and Popeye's chicken better for fast food chicken. I haven't seen any Mary Brown's around for a while though.

You can get it with grill chicken instead of deep fried :).

It's a crappy area, but tons of stuff within walking distance. There is a pita pit, dominos pizza and a burger king now too.

Double Down grilled - 480 cals, 25 grams fat, 1760 sodium, 4 grams carbs, 60 grams protein. Probably the most protein in any road food, and with the amount of water we all drink, that's not enough sodium to be concerned with.
I'll be having one for sure.

minus the TYPE of fat but yeah, not bad if stuck for some reason that you hadn't planned for.
Even better if they made it with grilled chicken breast instead of breaded and deep fried :)

I took a motorcycle trip down to Southern California with buddies this summer, we saw the ads everywhere and had to try it...
I was eager to crush one down as my protein bars had run out and it was pretty damn good! I think I'll have to go for round 2!...

I had one, it was okay. Tasted like their chicken and tasted good, not sure if I would pay 9 bucks again, but if I was in a jam, sure.

I finnally went in to try one and saw the price,6.99.
There's no way Im gonna spend that kinda money one 1 fast food burger.
So much salt in this couldnt get rid of the taste for hours , never again!

I ate one last night... it was not bad... 50G's of protein is pretty impressive given that it's a pretty small portion compared to all the mega double, tripple and quad burgers out there :)
In the States you can get this with the grilled chicken which would actually make it not so 'unhealthy'... it was insanely salty... I drank about 4l's of diet pop and water last night after eating it... I actually like the idea of a bunless sandwich!

The diet pop likely did not help the case seeing as how it contains a fair amount of sodium as well.
Looking forward to trying one of these in a couple weeks.

Yes, You can get grilled Pressed Meat grilled if you don't want it deep fried. Make no mistake, this very processed chicken. It's fast food. You're not getting anything high quality.
