I read on a reputable forum about laying on the floor and doing dumbbell presses to hit your triceps. Anyone else do these? My arms are TOAST now lol

a lot of powerlifters use floor pressess, are you doing them hammer gripped or like a regular bench

I was doing them like regular bench, it was pretty much a random thing I thought of at the end of my workout today. Does hammer grip hit them better?

If you want to add serious mass to your triceps you should be doing close grip benches and weighted dips.

I have also found bench dips has added some good size to my tris recently...an exercise I had forgotten about for years...get a partner to put weight onto your lap.

Yes, it would. Although doing them on a bench would allow for increased range of motion and be even better. To add to the dips and close grip bench that have already been mentioned I have made good gains doing barbell and dumbell skull crushers and rolling tricep extensions (kinda the same as a skull crusher, but not quite).

Dips, Close Grip bench and skull crushers are my fave by far....I use cable press downs at the end to blowem\burnem up

I second that. Just make sure the bench is not sketch, and not slippery. I've seen a couple guys dislocate their shoulders from slipping and trying to correct. One dude got his index finger crushed by a plate that slid off his lap after he corrected himself. When post-workout recovery involves the emergency room your either badass or dumbass... most likely the latter. Except if your Chuck Norris of course haha.

PYes, weighted dips should be in any tri exercise, 1 arm tricep extension overhead will also give you a different look to your tris...
Close and reverse grip benches are wicked as well....I enjoy floor presses now and then, but aforementioned are staples...

Thanks for the reminder. I brought dips back and am getting results again.
