I can usually stomach any type supp, esp BCAA's which can be just putrid, but this stuff takes the cake. It hits my gag reflex every ****ing time. They use zero sweeteners.

I usually got Kaizen isolate, but my local costco just discontinued the product, and since i was in a jam this was the only thing they had that had 1g of carbs. Kaizen ATLEAST used Splenda to sweeten their ****ing stuff.

STAY AWAY from this stuff, im SHOCKED that pp can actually drink this stuff.

Alright morning rant over.

While you're at costco why didn't you pick yourself up a 50lbs bag of sweetener lol then the protein wouldn't taste so bad. If it gives you the runs well the 400 rolls of toilet paper you bought there will come in handy too.

I really didnt realize it until i was home and tasted it, then read the label. Why they would do this is beyond me.

I actually went to the local GNC that's on the way home from work, and they wanted something like 90 dollars for a 2Kg tub of comparable isolate. I rather drink this rubbish until i find a permanent alternative.

I was actually quite happy with Kaizen :( Maybe ill try another costco.

Uh, you do realize that the GFR isolate is the natural stuff, don't you? that means it's flavourless, that there's no sweetener meant to be in it. It's just whey protein isolate direct from the manufacturing process with NOTHING added to it.

I obviously didn't know that. Realized when i got home, then looked at the packaging and hehe, says plain as day, unflavored, unsweetened, PLAIN.

3 ****ing people in this thread schilling for the products/organizations they represent.

The only credible person who mentioned sites/company's to buy from was cpom.

MP: we need to crack down on this shit.

Hey gang, we have a Supplement Review section (in case you didn't know). Put up a report there. If the brand/product isn't listed please PM MP and he'll add it. The Supplement Review section has huge potential - we just need your honest input.

That supplement review section is probably one of the best tools we as Canadians have yet it's rarely used. Sometimes I wonder if people actually use supplements. I encourage members to use it. Put up an honest review and give it a rating. After a few years, that section could become an invaluable tool especially for guys just getting into the sport and no clue if something is good or not. But the key to it all is to remain unbiased and honest. It's not a section based on what is cheapest but what worked or not. Some guys will just want what's cheapest and that's pretty easy to find. Others want top of the line stuff and money is no issue. That info has to be available too.

But on that note, guys who are affiliated should not be pushing their products in other threads about a different product. That's what the sponsor forums are for and banners. We needs some section mods to keep things clean. One will be this section. I think some forums call them forum leaders. The concept is a good one. Someone to help a certain forum keep flowing nice and keep it clean. Will make a callout for forum leaders soon. Need to clean up the forums first. As mentioned some will be removed as they don't move well and are not really worth having here.
