It's only like a 3 hour drive for me, I was thinking of going down to see the iron shiek, not sure who this "cutler" fella is though.
Where is the show he is doing ?

Jay was given a gift on the weekend... I don't feel like wasting $50 on him!

how was he given a gift?
Most people (who matter) say while he wasn't as good as last year he did enough to win this year.

Well... my opinion matters to me... and I saw both in person... and Phil looked better...

Jay simply has too much size. Yes he has a blocky waist but that is about his only downfall. He was plenty lean enough to hang with Phil.

Cutlers the man...even if you don't agree with the placings, you don't become a 4 time Mr O by luck. If i was to pay to see a top level bodybuilder i would want to see the champ, this show is close to home so i may try and make it over, hopefully.

I'd say your bias is the reason you believe what you believe but like you said, you were there in person.

I like Phil better, but understand why Jay would win.

I used to like Jay's physique but now prefer Phil and Wolf. But I can push aside my personal bias to say that I do think Jay was the better man that night.

Phil was definitely better but in the judges eyes it wasn't a knockout so they gave it to Jay the reigning champ. IMO the freakiest guy could have won and that would have been Branch easily...much harder and drier than both Jay and Phil and crazy muscularity.

Looking at those side by side comparisons...Phil all the way for sure IMO, so much more pleasing to the eye.

Agree with Branch. Dude was the most peeled I think I've ever seen and at that size... crazy

I'm sorry, where have you been for the past 20 years? Bodybuilding at the pro level isn't about aesthetics

And it's too bad it isn't...maybe we'd get some mainsteam media coverage and acceptance if it was, leading to better compensation for athletes which then would attract more athletes.
I understand why Jay won, i just don't like it. (but he is a freak...much respect for that)

Oh, I'm not disagreeing with your sentiment as I'd prefer to see more aesthetic looking physiques but the question was who deserved to win as Andre felt Jay was given a gift.
