Yea Branch is it the Lord thats pinning the gear into your body cause I know doctors are not giving out percripts of test at a gram plus a week ..Is it the lord thats giving you your hgh at above theraputic dosages.. I didn't watch the video yet, but what's wrong with him speaking about a connection with the lord. Are you suggesting that the only reason he's awesome is because he takes test and HGH? All the guys on that stage are on roughly all the same stuff, that's a given, so of course he's not gonna say what separates him from everyone else if what he pins in himself everyday.

I am not even a branch fan but I still don't understand your beef with the guy. Every sport there are interviews where the athlete "thanks the lord"...but obviously its just a figure of speech. It simply means "I am thankful for having great genetics and for being able to work hard in the sport I love without any major setbacks to hinder my progress along the way"

Then why doesn't he just say exactly that? Im in the above camp...I think it sends the wrong message to impressionable people that if you just train hard and pray, the Lord is the way....Olympia bound!
So why bring religion into it at all? Some attempt at clensing his christian soul for all the sins he's committing against the very tenants of the religion (body is the temple, etc)? Or to bring recognition to the fact that he's a practicing christian? To what ends? To detract from the obvious? Oh wait, he trains with God so he must not use all those nasty steroids everyone else uses? Wait...what???? Then implied hypocracy that statement contains is almost laughable....
Don't get me wrong, I'm a Branch fan and have been for a while....love the freaky mass and the training style....warrior all the way....
However, there's no point in "thanking the Lord" for the accomplishments....it's the hard work, dedication and the "suppliment" regimine that got him where he is.....
Maybe "Lord" is the pet name for his guru?

Because every athlete thanks the lord for being "blessed"...It's another way of being humble also. As in: I am not cocky, because I am attributing my success to the lord. It's just something they say...

Ronnie Coleman said the same thing after guest posing at the 2000 WQ...I'd like to thank the lord for blessing me, etc etc...I am truly blessed. At the time I thought the same thing as you guys, sure the lord made you huge.

But years later, and less naive, I realize the truth behind how ALL bodybuilders get to that level. but that's the thing, they're all doing it, so they're on an even playing field. So what makes Branch better than the guy who comes 16th?....well, according to him, the lord (ie. his humble way of saying I am just luckier). Sure, its possible he takes more drugs than the guy who comes 16th, but its also just as possible that he takes LESS than the guy who comes 15th (and less than the guy who doesn't even make the olympia stage)
