Flying direct out of Detroit airfare is under $400 all in... Hotel next door to the Olympia is $35 a night... it's going to be a pretty affordable trip...
VIP Olympia tickets are a little pricey @ $600... aside from that everything else is cheap :)

wow without tickets thats so affordable. I thought hotel would be very very expensive in vegas but i was wrong. wow. 35 a night for hotel next to the olympia and airfare are really really good. I wonder if u didnt get the awesome VIP tickets if the shitty seats are a bit cheaper.

i am there too. and bigt there are no shitty seats in the auditorium. no way would i pay $600 for vip tickets. the seats and the extras arent worth it.

Here's the seating chart... the best non VIP tickets come to $400 for both night shows and 3 days of the expo... this does not include that Saturday after party or the Sunday Seminar... and VIP tickets get early access to the meet and greet and the expo... It's worth it to me to spend the couple extra bucks :)
If I wanted to save money I could stay at home and watch online for free ;)

andre the meet and greet where u get in a hour before the regular people, trust me u will be in line for most of that. getting into the small room where these guys/gals are in is crazy! by the time we got in there most of them had left.
be sure to get into the line up at least 1-2 hours before everyone else.
the seminar the next day sucks.
as for the after party, that is actually really neat. eating buffet with your favorite stars and sitting at their tables. its a little over whelming to be honest. as u kinda see who shmooses with who in the industry. try to hold your boner down, as the fitness and figure and bikini girls all dressed up are enough to spring wood!!!
the true after party though is at one of the night clubs. keep your ear to the ground in the after party and u migh t score tickets to it, or make friends with one of the companies at the expo, as they usually have a buttload of tickets. Nutrabolics comes to mind here or San.

Physique, I have been getting VIP tickets for the Arnold since 2004... the closer I am to the stage the better... going VIP is the only for sure way of knowing I will be getting killer seats :)
This year I sat 2nd row in front of the podium at the Arnold... about 8 rows in front of Jay and less than 10 feet from Arnold and Stallone... Being this close to the action make the whole event so much more fun!
How much is it from Toronto to Vegas ?
It costing myself and my wife $1300 total for 5 nights hotel and flight !

i check them all normally, then i call local travel agent and ask if they have any crazy last minute deals.
best site i find though is usually expedia, travelzoo.ca or flightcenter.ca
