I like it. Don't think its retarded, since 95% of the steroid using population have no right taking steroids...And of those, probably a decent percentage actually have no idea the risks they are putting themselves in. Why don't they air this commercial?

I like it too. Why not hyperbolize and over exagerate some of the 'possible' detrimental effects to deter 95% of youth who have no business even thinking about trying steroids. If you are impressionable and uneducated enough to take that commercial as pure truth then you have no business using gear.
For those small percent who use properly and are educated in steroid use that commercial can purely be taken with a grain of salt and for what its worth, a media gimmick

I have never taken steroids but lol.

Never heard of them causing tendons to tear.... although I have heard of them causing your muscles to grow faster/stronger then your tendon's can and that resulting in tears.

They can cause bones to stop growing? How do you explain all the bone growth teenagers do while on their natural cycle of test(puberty)?

Avoid liver problems, put down the orals and stick it in your ass like a man.

I don't care about the size of my balls, as long as my dick keeps working.

I really find it hard to trust information coming from someone with ulterior motives. I think most people do. If they really want to inform people, they should drop the scare tactics and iron out the truths and myths, and present the information from a neutral perspective.

OMG baseball players take steroids and they are all going to die of heart attacks after they get roid rage and kill their wives and children and rape your dog because they can't control themselves AND they have small balls.... AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!.
GTFO.

lots of opinions here some for the commercial some not. I for one am not just because of the facts they present. not the message, I fully agree with the message. the tactic of exasperating side effects like testicular shrinkage is what i dont think should be in it.

but how is is exasperating the side effect, if it is a real side effect. Especially when nut size is pretty important for teenagers. Sure, they don't go from the size of a basketball to the size of a pea, but yes - your nuts will likely shrink on a cycle.

your nuts will likely shrink on a cycle.
and then they will likely return to normal size when off the cycle. I didn't see all the balls re-inflate at the end of the commercial. Your probably right that most people shouldn't be putting things they don't fully understand in their body, but I don't think exaggerated one sided commercials are going to change anyones mind.

Also shit like this portrays your 5% who should be using as impotent retards on the verge of self induced death.

Let's keep these idiots out of the loop. Things like HCG for anti-ball shrinkage should never be known to the common moron. ;) There are enough idiots randomly taking shit as it is.

Noticed two new kids in the gym the other day.Look like they have done nothing but play video games their whole short lives.Learning how to use the various stations and the motions.Later on talking to the huge guy who looks like he can barely blink and exchanging phone numbers.

there is no such thing as SHOULD be using...But yes, it would portray those 5% who are using who are smart about it as men with small nuts. But those 5% are also used to that stigma, which is the least of their worries - and they should be smart enough to be able to handle themselves.

If this actually helped a small proportion stay away who shouldn't be using, then small price to pay to saying the 5% who are educated about it have small nuts.

I agree with the message (99%of people have no business using gear), but the commercial is still pretty lame.

The number of young people that are too lazy to even bother with a small amount of research is likely what prompted this.
