Hey guys and gals, well my fiance has come to some cross roads in here life and her job. I am just putting out feelers or any hints on jobs in the Calgary area

Right now she is Wedding planner and she works very hard, she can handle high stress, multi task, very good with computers and different programs and a wack of other stuff, she does weddings right from start to finish( with workers under her), dealing with crazy brides at 2am etc..

She is looking to get out of it cause the company she works for is on the edge of going under, getting paid on time is hard, the owner doesn't want to talk about on going problems.

She is willing to work with animals( small dogs and cats), willing to admin ass't pretty much anything office stuff, She not the type to pick up a shovle or do labour work.

I am not asking for fav's or anything just , hints, or heads up or places that are hiring that dont post

thanks you

In Calgary, with all the condo's going up..etc
I would suggest residential/strata property management.

Tell her to work as a wedding planner independently....get another job, but keep doing that. Independently, there isn't a lot of overhead. Networking with suppliers, venues, etc, has man hours attached of course but little to no overhead.

The company I work for we have 7 venues for wedding ceremonies/receptions. In 2009 weddings market brought us 500k, in 2010 we're over 1.2Million. It's a big business...

UBC i never thought of that, i will get her to look into it, and

Brennylee - I have suggested that she goes on her own, cause of her close cow workers did and now she is making a pile of money, but she she wants out of it.

thanks

BIGA!!!!, Give her a soft job, and tell her to work at it until it gets hard!!!!

LOLOL, sidenote, i say this as a fun joke as Biga, and i work together, He is on my crew, and i tell him this once in awhile, when he is diddling around the shop.....lmao....

Keep an eye out bro, and see if she is interested in heading back to school, there are some decent grants and EI courses out there buddy.....
Hope all goes well, if not, work more ovrtime and make yourself a sugar-daddy.....
